Very kind staff and thoughtfully prepared rooms

We loved our stay at Hôtel Le Bois Joli. The location in Cauterets was great and we were greeted warmly. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed - robes, slippers, kettle, tea, coffee, lots of storage. We appreciated the tea/infusion setup in the common area (better than the limited in-room setup at most hotels!). This area also has a microwave, which could be useful as the market (just a block or so a way) has lots of prepared food options for sale, though we did not take advantage of this during our short stay. After a week of hiking and staying in refuges, we were happy to make use of the sauna and get a good night’s sleep. I also had some wear and tear on my clothes, and I was able to borrow a sewing kit to mend them. We added breakfast, which was tasty, and again, the hotel team worked to make sure we had everything we need.

Perfect location in Cauterets, Hotel Le Boud Joli is comfortable and very welcoming. Our room overlooked the pretty town and mountains and it was lovely hearing the bells in the church chime. We had everything we needed, the breakfast was delicious and it was a charming base for walking to dinner or shopping. It was easy (by car) to get to many of the areas scenic lakes, waterfalls and hikes.

The staff was very friendly to accommodate for our newborn. The place is very well located in Cauterets. Unfortunately we had to pay quite a sum for it, which makes it less good value for money.

The price was too high. Despite a very kind staff, this is not good value for money.

This hotel is right at the heart of Cauterets, and surrounded by bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. There is no parking actually at the hotel, but we found it easy to park in the large municipal car park a 4/5 minute walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was larger than I expected, with a pleasant ensuite bath and shower. It was quiet. The bed was large and comfortable.. Our rate did not include breakfast, and we found a couple of places super close by where we could enjoy coffee and pastries cheaply.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Le Bois Joli. This family owned hotel has very friendly and welcoming staff, and they were extremely helpful. I also want to mention their excellent English, which helped us considering our French is unfortunately worse than poor. We had a wonderful time here and will for sure come back. The location of the hotel is exceptionally good, in the middle of this small town, next to the Tourist Information Centre. Lots of free parking 5 minutes from the hotel. Easy to park outside the hotel for off and on loading of luggage.

Perfect location in the center of town, spacious room, quiet, comfortable, clean, well equipped. Great staff and good, efficient ans friendly service. All reasonably priced.

The location is in the heart of Cauterets. Our room had stunning views of the main streets and mountains. A perfect base for nearby hiking in the stunning Pyrenees!

It was difficult to find some place to eat in Cauterets if you did not have a hotel with half board. Most of the restaurants and bistros were closed from Monday until Friday.

This was our first return to Cauterets for 9 years and we were delighted to stay in the hotel associated with Le Ski Bar. The hotel is comfortable and cosy and we had a large room with a good bathroom and separate toilet. We were on the fourth floor and it was rather warm and there is no aircon,it not usually being required up in the mountains but nonetheless the room was very comfortable. We had an excellent breakfast, the staff cheerfullyaccommodating a special request for my husband and preparing something which wasn’t on the menu. Delightful, super friendly staff. Very centrallylocated. We would stay again when back in Cauterets.

The workers were so nice and accommodating! The hotel is perfectly situated in town and it’s easy to come and go.

We were there in the summer over two warm days and the room was too hot. A fan would have been very helpful.

Great central location, large, comfortable room, everything good quality, very friendly, helpful staff.

Room was a bit too warm at night even when it wasn’t very hot outside. Breakfast was good but some fresh fruit would have been appreciated as it was very heavy on bread. Parking not very nearby but that’s a limitation of Cauterets, rather than this hotel.
