    Pros +

    • The food was just okay. If you have a big group they find it quite hard to accommodate them. The F&B director was the most helpful. However even with that we barely got to try any of the restaurants. There was nice Mango juice but I quickly realized that was not special to the resort but all of Egypt.
    • The hotel is impeccable in every way: hospitality, beauty of the site, room, plenty of swimming-pools - everything. And the variety of food is simply unbelievable: the amount of dishes and restaurants is incredible. We didn't have time to try everything in our eight days. One special feature: you can swim into the sea from the pier, there's no swimming right from the beach. Along the shore, there's a half-kilometer-wide sandbar knee-deep, waist-deep, perfect for wandering and finding sea cucumbers. This feature of the hotel is offset by a huge number of it's advantages. If for someone this is a drawback, they should be aware of it in advance.

    Cons -

    • There was a dirty towel in my bathroom that had been there before I checked in underneath the sink. I had to tell the staff multiple times before something was done about it, this was about 3 days into my stay. The rooms were not well stocked and overall just dirty. There are no elevators, I was on the ground floor so it was fine, but I had friends with babies who had to carry strollers 5 flights of stairs. The staff were not very friendly nor patient. Everything seemed like an inconvenience, inhospitable at best. If you are looking for a luxurious experience, you will not find it here.
    • The rooms’ furnitures were quite dated. The pools, including the children ones were toocold. Most of all, there is absolutely no service for children below 4: children below this age won’t be allowed at the kids club (with zero flexibility ) and when we asked to have a nanny to be paid by hours we were told this service is not offered.
    • We were looked after amazingly from tue moment we arrived to the moment we left. Asked that everything was ok and it always was

We loved the themed restaurants, the room layout, the outdoor grounds including pools. The staff was extremely helpful and the guest relationship managers did whatever they could to make our stay pleasant

I recently stayed at Steigenberger Alcazar in Sharm El Sheikh, and everything was truly exceptional from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, the facilities are spotless, and the entire atmosphere feels both luxurious and comfortable.A very special thank you to Ms. Vita, whose warmhearted hospitality made us feel completely at home. She was attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about our comfort throughout our stay. And thanks to Ms. Nada for her support about our stay at the hotel. and her smiling face at all times.I also want to express my sincere gratitude to Chef Mr. Haisam, who went above and beyond by preparing special meals for my infant. As a parent, this meant the world to me, and his effort made our stay even more memorable.Overall, Steigenberger Alcazar exceeded all expectations — service, cleanliness, food, beach, and staff were simply top-tier. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh. We will definitely come back! ?✨

Well… just the Wi-fi but thats not a big issue.

We liked the cleanliness, garden area, beach and pools are 10, it is a silent hotel, they only open music time to time, no bothering about pool games. Food is 7 but it is good enough if you are not looking for the best.

The internet was not good enough, it does not working everywhere, and there was limits, for example you can not enter booking.com via the internet they offering. You have to walk everywhere minimum 10.000 steps every day. You may prefer walking shoes instead of flip flops.

This was our 5th time in Alcazar – and definitely not the last. Everything was wonderful. The hotel has kept its class and atmosphere even after 8 years since the opening. It’s spotless clean, beautifully maintained, the food is excellent, and the staff are genuinely kind, attentive and always smiling. The adults-only pool area is especially peaceful and relaxing, and the à la carte restaurants are simply outstanding (Lebanese is a must!). You can feel that everyone here cares. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who loves calm luxury and warm service.

Location, clean, beautiful and very nice and caring stuff

Little feedback what you could improve - to change playlist everywhere Only at the pool dj was playing nice, modern tracks witch are popular nowBut I think you could use « more luxury » playlist at the lobby Also you could choose nicer playlist for singers I went to many places of the world so it really few things to fix to be even more exceptional Also at the last day we saw with my dad morena in the water. Maybe to provide the one paje Gide would be helpful for guests especially who is coming for the first time. Thank you ?

Some improvements to room cleaning and to a la carte restaurants

As a solo traveler who has visited Alcazar Sharm El Sheikh multiple times, I can confidently say this place feels like a second home. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the facilities are consistently well-maintained, and the service is exceptional. A special mention goes to Ahmed Khamis at the Relax Pool and Taher at the beach—both went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and were always around with a smile. Their attentiveness made my stay even more enjoyable.

There were a few minor issues, as with any property, but they were handled quickly and professionally. Ms. Nada from Guest Relations stayed in contact with me throughout the entire stay to ensure everything was perfect. Her care and dedication made a big difference and truly reflect the high standards of this resort.

I loved the interior, Nada was amazing! She really made the rest of our stay amazing. The food in the pool area was amazing !! The restaurants made it worth it.

I think the kettle in the room was a bit questionable and it felt difficult to get golf carts at time. The tv could’ve been a bit bigger

I had a wonderful stay at this resort! The place is beautiful, clean, and relaxing — perfect for a getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality really made the experience special. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for comfort and great service!

Every thing was up to expectations

During my vacation at Starnberger Alcazar, I had the chance to relax and enjoy both the beautiful surroundings and the comfortable atmosphere of the place. I spent time exploring the area, walking along the nearby lake and taking in the peaceful scenery. The hotel itself offered a cozy and welcoming environment, making it easy to unwind and recharge. Best thanks to the students, Nada from guest relations was great!! Fully pleased.
