Beautiful room, very clean and spacious. Good kitchenette cupboard. Really helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendlyl. We had originally booked an AirBnb, but due to no air conditioning, had to book here at the last minute! Comfortable room!

Diego, who checked us in and out. He was friendly and helpful.. Our room was also clean, the cleaning staff was great.
The weekend receptionist was unhelpful and not available. This hotel listed parking as an amenity...that's a bit of a joke. It was €11 a day. The parking basement was scary, poorly lit, and almost impossible to navigate. We were expecting a characterful small boutique hotel, and were disappointed.
We highly recommend staying in Sliema , and if you do this is the place you want to be. Walkable to downtown and far enough away from all the noise / music downtown. Shower was perfect and bed was very comfortable. The hotel has so much character and charm.
My only advice would be to add a door to the shower so the water doesn’t run out into the rest of the bathroom
rooms very good and clean. Hotel in a nice quiet area.
Food could have been better, very basic offerings, no real restaurant
A boutique hotel with really friendly staff who made me comfortable being solo in Malta. Super flexible as well. A huge shoutout to Diego for being so kind and understanding with some of my requirements!
Our whole experience at Palazzo Violetta was the best! The very first person we encountered was Diego. Diego got us all checked in and shared lots of info about Malta helping to culminate the best experience possible on Malta. The hotel itself was very accommodating and had all the things we would need there for our stay. The rest of the staff was just as friendly again giving us the best experience.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
Nice pool, quiet
AC needs to turn off/on
I stayed in the annex. There was a group of us that were staying in both the main building and the annex. Very quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was very good. I got to enjoy the pool for a bit on the last day of my stay.
Everything was fine
Clean
The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The room could have done with a couple of comfortable chairs
Fabulous location, customer service, great breakfast, nice room with AC
The Hotel was good value and the room was comfortable. It was a plus to have a pool, though too cold to swim in it was nice to sunbathe by. It was close to bus stops which made getting into Valetta easy
Nothing really, though some people might find it's position on a hill difficult. For us it kept us fit walking into Sliema.
Perfect location. Lovely room, enjoyed using the balcony and having a kitchenette was really useful. Having access to the garage was handy, as we had rented a car.
The room was large enough to accommodate a family of three with two beds at our disposal. It is simply decorated but it has this Maltese limestone touch which makes it very appreciable. The room exterior including the lobby and swimming pool is nice with some board games available.
Our main complain is about the malfunctioning shower which we identified upon our arrival late at night. We understand technical issues may occur from time to time but it is the hotel responsibility to find an alternative for his guests. They eventually let us use another room to shower, but only after we insisted heavily for this basic and unsatisfactory solution. The only thing the receptionist could offer at first was a bottle of water to make it up which is is not up to hospitality standard we were expecting. The receptionist in charge said he did not have the power to do anything else which I found either hard to believe or worrying as he was the only hotel representative around.
The hotel is very beautiful, located in a very quiet place, but it is still possible to do lots on foot, it is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of options, and everything was fresh.
The mattress was a bit hard for me, but this is something very particular.
The bed was comfy
Very noisy room, right at the front of the hotel, location was not as nice as expected or hoped, too far from sights, too dirty, noisy
We stayed at Palazzo Violetta for 4 nights in April as a family of 4. The apartment was extremely clean. Hardwood floors throughout and I love to be barefoot. Not one spec on the floor. It was well equipped with Shampoo and Body Wash, Toothbrush kits, shaving kits and sewing kits. You could opt for cleaning every day. Towels, small and large were provided per person, and pool towels available to use separately. There ere plenty of clothes hangars in the wardrobe. Robe and slippers also provided. Beds are a memory foam as are the pillows. There are plenty of sockets in the room (uk type). A small kitchenette with microwave oven, kettle, sink. Cups, glasses, plates and cutlery all provided too. Most importantly the staff here are very pleasant and help you whatever you could need. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Nothing not to like. There is a supermarket and bars nearby, but you would need to walk 10minutes for a choice of restaurants
