It is Not really in the near of Den Haag. The buildings in the near look not very nice.

Proximity to location of destination visited.

Rate advertising was confusing and uneven. A lower rate was discovered after booking sans breakfast.

Ask for a newer room. Don’t accept the old dated rooms on the ground floor (nr 47-56)

Last time, I had a nice upgraded room. This time, I was placed in one of the old hotel rooms, on the ground floor all the way in the back. The room was very dated, with no thermostat, so it was very cold. It also smelled like sewage, and there was damage on the ceiling and walls, as well as bugs. I was too tired to ask for another room, as I arrived late and only stayed one night. Please upgrade the ground-floor rooms, these are not fit to accommodate tourists!

Ground floor hotels rooms need to be renovated!

Not a great neighbourhood, surrounded by abandoned buildings. Very expensive for what it was which was pretty mediocre.

The rooms are so, so pretty and comfortable. We loved the balconies on the apartments and how clean everything was! Also the proximity to the park, train station and supermarkets was excellent.

No soap for dishes for the apartment rooms! Internet is slow or non existent and doesn't permit Netflix on TV.

Restaurant was not open

The unit had no AC and the only way to get air into the unit was to open a balcony door which made me feel unsafe at night.

Reception areas were very nice and comfortable. Reception staff were excellent. Restaurant staff were a bit too exuberant in the evenings, it was all rather noisy! Breakfast was super.

Smart hotel and comfortable bed

Bathroom was large but felt very clinical

Literally 2 minutes of walk for the station The room was big and comfortable.Everything was clean Near the hotel there is a place "National Videogame Museum" if you into arcade go and take a look.

Comfortable rooms,nclean and well located.

Price of breakfast a little bit high for my budget.

The property was ok but what I love the most of how Henry (receptionist) took good care of us after our unpleasant encounter with Tricia the receptionist we met at the desk upon arrival

That Tricia lady was so rude and disrespectful, we asked her if it was possible to all stay in the same room as we are 3 sisters, she said that it wasn’t possible and that the hotel is sold out which we totally understood and just asked her to check 2 us in while we find a solution for the 3rd sister and her response was so biased and stereotypical. She said : I quote: ooh I can guess what you guys are going to do, you’ll come back later and sneak in, that would be breaking the rules which is unacceptable in our hotel. I then asked if she knew me or she was a magician to guess what was going to happen.Her ton of voice and body language said a lot about her personality. They say that the people on front lines are the face of the company. Well I guess Golden Tulip has many faces but we met the ugly and unpleasant one. I don’t see myself booking that hotel ever again unless a little birdy tells me Henry is the one on duty when I check inn. We didn’t even enjoy our stay and didn’t appreciate the rest of the hotel due to all the aforementioned.

The waiting staff in the restaurant were particularly amazing. We were a very large party and they took exceptional care of us. The food was great too.

Nothing. We visit every year and love the place.
