Set in Samara just a one-minute walk from the beach, Blue Iguana features a swimming pool and on-site award-winning Asian Sushi restaurant. We have 40 shared and private rooms, strong fans, air conditioned, TV and free WiFi throughout the property. The rooms come with a private bathroom. The property offers a community kitchen. Parking is located off-site, around the park in front of the hotel. Breakfast is included with all room reservations. Nosara is 22 mi from Blue Iguana, while Carrillo is 4.3 mi away.

- Great location and helpful staff.
- Proximity to beach and town. More of a hostel type accommodation.
Cons -
- Ants, lots of them; unsurprising, given the holes in the bathroom wall with no glass or screens. Noise from the neighbors; also unsurprising, given how ramshackle the building is. Room cramped and hot; fan but no AC. For the price, excessively primitive.
