    Pros +

    • Welcoming, professional staff at a beautiful facility in the heart of the old city. Perfection!
    • Everything was top!?
    • It was my second visit already, because I really love this place, and over the years the quality of service and facilities remain the same. The building was transformed from a historical building into a hotel, this provides an unique vibe of the interior. They have a nice restaurant and the breakfast was amazing, a lot of local food and fresh ingredients!

    Cons -

    • Our Room #6 lighting was horrible. Had to use our phone to find things in the cupboard. It needs a major lighting upgrade.
    • The lighting was a bit dark in the room.
    • I didn’t like the outdoor market in front of the hotel so I couldn’t park there to load the luggage into the car but other than that, it was great

Not only was it beautiful it was centrally located. It was perfect! Plus, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in

Good beds, good size rooms, woodwork and history gives atmosphere

A lot of issues with lighting - too dark rooms, unintuitve switches, missing lightbulbs, not light to shave. Bathroom door cannot close fully, and some are see-through. Wifi unusable for some. Missing more options for breakfast, and ran out of jam. Overall doesn't feel like correct detail-level for the price. Be aware that ambigious parking listing on Booking, for this hotel means to park around the corner in public garage for around 12,5 euro per day. Booking lists tennis court - doesn't exist. Would be nice with a gym for this level of hotel.

Awesome hotel which was really modern, super fast (300mb) internet which was free. Had all you needed and the restaurant below was awesome. Really friendly staff that made our stay

    Loved it

    lovely staff, location and room

Rooms are very gloomy. Colleagues shower didn't work properly and extractor fan on all night. Breakfast selection a bit disappointing

Very clean, big room. Great restaurant. The staff was really nice!

The room was a bit dark, not enough light

    8IsabelPosted on: 8-30-2024

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good choice. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. The central location gave easy access to local shops and restaurants. Plus easy access to cycle routes. we only ate in the restaurant one night as it was quite pricy, but the food was excellent.

The minimalist approach to storage furniture meant the room felt cluttered - even one cupboard with doors would help. The arrangement for charging bike batteries was good in terms of safety but on one occasion my husband's battery did not charge overnight, meaning we had to significantly reduce the planned route the following day.

    Cozy and comfortable with style.

We could hear every single step in our room from the upper floor. Also I have to mention that the bathroom door has a see-through glass so from a few points of the room you can see your roommate sitting on the toilet.

Very central in beautiful old city, hotel a converted armoury, excellent restaurant .

    10MccarthyPosted on: 8-13-2024

This is my second time staying at the hotel,I love the stlye as it's a converted old building and they've kept all the original architecture. My first time for a family wedding was great so I booked it a second time fir a short weekend break. This time around was even better.Mannoune the front of house concierge was friendly and accommodating. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish and the open plan restaurant is fabulous.I had a small technical issue with the room I had booked which couldn't be helped and she quickly moved me to another room, upgrading my room also for my 2 night stay as a gesture of goodwill. It was greatly appreciated. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and if you are looking for a different hotel experience thus is the place.10/10

Just in the middle of the city but nice and quiet in the evening. Comfortable bed and good blinds to have a good night rest.

The door is a bit hard to open with the key, more like a lottery ticket ?

Really lovely hotel in the centre of Woerden. We stayed for one night as we cycled through the town.Staff were really helpful, and the room was lovely.

    9KarenPosted on: 6-22-2024

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Loved all the wood and the interior designs. Restaurant area fabulous. Lovely to be able to see chefs cooking. Hired electric bikes from the hotel, saw some incredible scenery.

Our room would have been better if we had drawers or a wardrobe to put our clothes.

    10JacekPosted on: 6-12-2024

The hotel has its own style, lots of old wood, unique decor.Breakfast good enough. I'm a glutton and I didn't complain.

    Clean rooms Friendly personnel

Bar closed at 23.00 while it was a wonderful evening outside

    8RosaliePosted on: 5-26-2024

Perfectly situated, friendly and efficient staff, spacious room and lovely bathroom with all of the amenities.

The room is extremely dark and could do with more lighting. I also battled to set the air conditioning below 19 degrees

    9StephenPosted on: 5-16-2024

A terrific conversion of an old armoury with stunning bedrooms and a stylish cafe and restaurant on the ground floor. The staff all spoke excellent English which made the stay every straightforward. Well located in the small town of Woerden which meant that a pre dinner stroll was possible.

The lighting arrangements in the bedroom were a bit difficult to fathom and we never did master it fully. We would have asked for more information if we had been staying more than one night.

    9Tri_04Posted on: 5-15-2024

It's a charming hotel with a contemporary brasserie style restaurant which serves good food. The village of Woerden is wonderful

A bit noisy on a Saturday night due to the surrounding bars and restaurants, although some people may well like the lively atmosphere
