Hotel Freihof am Roland

The facilities were spotless. The bedroom was superb and the breakfast room also.

Nice clean modern and quiet room.In walking distance from S Bahn to Hamburg.7,50 daytrip. Ticket in ticketmachine at station.

The rooms are big and nicely decorated. The breakfast is very tasty!

The fact that there is not a proper parking belonging to the hotel. You can park closesly around as it is free parking, but the hotel does not offer it.The attitude of the receptionst at check-in.

nice hotel with good breakfast

the wifi was down the whole evening, could not be fixed. A bit annoying.

Very clean room and hotel overall, quite, comfy bed, very nice breakfast (I am a picky eater lately and even if they didn’t have a very large variety, I have found some great options for me, so I can rate the breakfast as 10/10), and the stuff are very nice and helpful as well!I have specifically selected the hotel due to the fact that it had a gym, but at the arrival time the gym was closed. The lady at the reception has opened the gym so I can do my workout till 10 PM and I appreciate this a lot.

I have no constructive feedback. All was very good.

It‘s a hidden gem on the side of the road. Looks like you are entering a different world. Very cute building, the staff is nice, the rooms comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. Everything is cosy and the train connection into the city is very easy.

Breakfast. Bars and Restaurants near the Location. S-Bahn connection to Hamburg City centar. Free parking.

Very friendly staff, helpful with all questions and special requests. Location was also quite convenient, Sbahn nearby.

Very friendly German lady with excellent English at the reception. An affordable and nice hotel. Well suited for those looking for an affordable hotel.

The rooms are very nice and comfortable, big bathroom, very quiet. The breakfast buffet is incredibly delicious and offers everything one can desire. Really good!

Location close to the metro and many restaurants.

The room I stayed was very small and old, I felt I was in a jail.

Rooms are perfectly clean, breakfast is very nice and hotel looks so cozy and cute.

Double bed has 2 separate mattresses.

The price was excellent, and the breakfast was as well - always important in my opinion. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable for me. Easily reachable location on a main road, albeit a bit far out of town (I was going to Hamburg actually). Very recommendable in my opinion.

Almost nothing really. The reception hours are a bit short, but they helped me out with the code to an electronic key safe, so that late arrival was still facilitated.

Very nice inner terrace, very nice breakfast and style of the hotel, looks so good!

The staff were really nice and friendly, check-in and check-out was a good experience. The breakfast was good. There is parking outside for free but you have to be early to get it.

Everything was ok.

Rich breakfast, good coffee. Nice building. Very nice room, clean and comfortable.

great breakfast, nice quiet room.

no conditioner, very small gym.

Pleasant location. Lovely breakfast, great range of good produce and a lovely breakfast room.

Extremely limited 'free parking'. Comfort room was actually rather basic and lacked facilities such as an easy chair, mirror, coat hooks..... In other words, they missed a trick or two and it was not quite up to the usual German standard.

Nice little boutique hotel central in Wedel, but still rather quit. Breakfast was fine. No restaurant, but plenty of possibilities just outside the door.

Location a bit out from the highway anf the road from Hamborg was boring with millions of traffic lights - but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Parking was limited at the hotel, but we managed to find one just by the back door.

Our unit was very quiet and we liked how clean and spacious our bathroom was. The included breakfast was great - better than most buffets we've had. The room itself was big enough for two and the bed was comfortable and clean. We also really liked the town of Wedel. There are lots of great amenities nearby.

Unfortunately there was not much parking available and this was really our only complaint.
