There were plenty of options for breakfast, the staff very friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable

The hotel is a bit old, so you have to carry a huge keychain with you. It would be nice to have a bigger pillow or two pillows. We knew that the location was not the best but we didn't know that the train passed besides the hotel and there was a lot of noise, especially in our room.

We stayed at Hotel Kreuzer for two nights in room number 23. Unfortunately, our experience was not very pleasant. Every time a train passed behind the building, the room would shake noticeably, and the noise was quite disturbing.Additionally, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. There was a dead mosquito on the wall, a spiderweb in the room, and the bathroom floor was not clean.I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the quality of service for future guests.

Since there was no air conditioning, we had to keep the window open, which made the train noise even louder. On top of that, dust and insects would come into the room through the open window.The room also didn’t smell fresh, and overall cleanliness was disappointing. There was a dead mosquito on the wall, a spiderweb in the room, and the bathroom floor was dirty.

Cozy place with scenic views. Good atmosphere.

The breakfast was not up to the level i expected. The convertible sofa-bed had very sharp metallic edges which is not suitable for kids

At breakfast there was a small confusion about coffee and hot water, but the staff is nice and there were a lot of people so no hard feelings. Perhaps a tip to think about a self service coffee machine...

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Even got to have an evening meal there one night which was very nice.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! The breakfast was very good. My German is not fluent but their English is excellent.

It would have been good to have a fan in the room, I was there during a warm humid spell and the room was a little warm.

Easy access with car. Spacious room. Easy to get up early and not sleeping late (because of the passing trains).

TRAINS, trains, trains!!! (S-bahn) Trains were passing just behind the hotel. Every time when they have passed the ground was shaking! I could sleep only 2 hours during the whole night... Why it was nowhere mentioned??? (our room was #11, so others might be maybe less affected)

Everything was really good, apart from the train track. The rooms are super clean.

We had a room next to the train track. I had to buy earplugs somewhere to sleep.

Very helpful and nice staff. We arrived late, but the girl was waiting for us. It was nice. The hotel is clean and stylish. The beds were very comfortable. The parking is large and there was enough space for all the guests, despite the fact that the hotel was completely full. The breakfasts are very good. I highly recommend it.

The breakfast was great. Also, parking is available. Close to Hamburg and to the beach.

Train tracks are right next to the hotel, so it’s noisy with the window open.

The location of the hotel is more than wonderful, a very quiet and beautiful place, close to all the facilities that a traveler needs, a gas station, shops, a bus stop, a very picturesque nature, and most importantly, the hotel workers are all very wonderful people.

The rooms were not sound proof as mentioned in the description! The guests spoke and yelled all night so we woke up about 6 times. We could hear everyone in the hallway and there are planes going over the hotel very close that made the room shake. The pillows were small and uncomfortable and the large double bed was actually two small beds pushed together so they kept drifting away all night. We are supposed to drive 11 hours today and both of us have neck pain and a headache so I wouldn’t recommend staying before you check your room
