It was in the right spot for what i needed.

I had a photo of your price and was charged more on the day nearly $40.00 extra NOT HAPPY

The room furnishings and decor were charming AND comfortable. It was quiet and charming.

I wasn't impressed by the on site restaurant. They seemed reluctant to make simple menu item changes (like hold the bread and potatoes) and the food was edible but not at all special.

The location was great. And the people were very friendly.

Really noisy, it is right above a bar. Also no air conditioning in the room.

The whole place needs some love. The new owner should spend some money and clean it up.The general cleanliness was very ordinary.

Love the heritage listed building, the laid back yet attentive staff, the food was great and the room was so sweet, decorated to the style of the gorgeous building and amazingly air-conditioned. The bathrooms were clean and updated as well.Such a quaint and beautiful spot to stay for a night and escape Sydney city. The river is a short walk away with personal perfect for fishing and relaxing.

That’s a tough one to answer as there was sooooo much that didn’t work or go well. I guess the venue provided the opportunity to go cycling from?

The greeting was unfriendly and any questions I had were answered short sharp and ‘without any interest’! The WiFi was rubbish. Basically it didn’t work and my computer said the router needed rebooting. I was told it was the fault of my phone signal Vodacom. WHICH IS TOTAL RUBBISH? the WiFi has nothing go do with my phone signal. Given I travel the world and rely on WiFi to communicate when the phone signal doesn’t work I was astonished there was no assistance or empathy. I was told it was as it was! Just down the street the local shop had a full WiFi signal. Premises shouldn’t advertise they have WiFi when they clearly don’t. I was quite offended and upset.

Choice of seating areas to eat/ drink. Ate in pub twice and both meals delicious and good value. Great outdoor area. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially the lady on the bar.

Sadly very little. I had hoped for a rustic quirky feel with some interest and appeal but I was very disappointed.

The staff were indifferent almost rude!I’ve used booking.com for over 20 years and rarely been greeted so poorly. The WiFi didn’t work at all. Ss an International traveller this is super important to me keeping in touch with family/friends plus booking ahead etc etc. Staff said I should try down the road their WiFi was reliable! And it was. So why didn’t they sort their own out??

Nothing not to like

NOTHING AT ALL ! Given the state of the room, the advertised description of this room is considered deceptive and misleading. When we complained to staff about the strong chemical smell and black mould, we were told this is probably the best of the rooms? go figure ! The shower,walls and ceiling had a lot of dangerous black mould. The carpet had been sprayed with a strong chemical which caused head spins etc.

We have requested a full refund from the Inn. but are getting the run around . Update, refund since received. Although we booked via bookings.com,we paid at the inn on arrival.The facts are: the bathroom was significantly impacted by black mould particularly the shower,walls and ceiling ,a major human health risk. Given the sheer amount of mould, it appears to have been there for a long period of time. definitely not a recent event. The unit probably the carpet had been treated with a very strong chemical. The vapours caused head spins and the start of head throbs and aches. Staff appeared not overly concerned or worried about these matters when raised. We checked out as a result and were lucky to find alternate accomodation, and out of pocket over another $200 !! Even if management provide a refund, we are significantly out of pocket and were lucky on a Friday afternoon to find somewhere else to sleep. It begs the question if the room was like this, what about other areas? This room and probably others requires a proper health survey, and should be removed from all booking availability until cleaned up. Update as at 11 Jan 25 - despite lots of emails messages from November 2024 between us and Wisemans Inn and Bookings, the amount of $97.97 requested as the difference in costs for the alternate accomodation has not been resolved, as no party will act or accept responsibiity. This partial reimbursement of the excess amount has not and probably will not be refunded. People be careful !! Customer Service ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Bar & Bistro access and food was great

Checkin was not ready on time, had to wait a while, but that's ok

Clean and cheap, very basic but what we expected.

Very basic overnight accomodation for one person. Good bathroom and hot shower.

The fridge was on the floor. There was nowhere to make a cup of tea. That is no bench of any description. A very bright security light shining straight through the curtains into the room. They need blackout curtains. It would be so easy to put a cabinet housing the fridge with a surface on top to allow making of tea and basic breafast prepartion provided by the patron. The hotel provides no breakfast.

The aircon.

No television, poor state of the bathroom.

Great location no need to go anywhere else

A lady tuned me up for walking down and out the front door around 8:30 and I was told to go out the side door that night when I signed in but had no idea where that was so I went out the way there was directly in front of the door
