food was excellent and lots of choice for breakfast. Due to the countryside location we ate there every night and there were no specials so same choice each night. It would have been a problem if we were staying longer than 3 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Pool was just too cold to swim in but it is the end of October!! Our room was lovely but the bedroom was up a flight of steep open treaded stairs and with the bathroom downstairs I was worried about night time use! I'm not sure if the stairs were mentioned in the description - if it was there I missed it!

Location was good, close to Modica and not far off from pozzallo. breakfast was good and selection good too.

It was a fantastic week! Nice room, friendly staff, delicious wines and meals!

Bath tube in the same room with a bed. Something strange, because our room was for 4 people.

The location was quiet and peaceful. The food was excellent and this was a beautiful Sicilian countryside retreat. The staff were excellent and helpful.

Beautiful grounds, lovely staff, comfortable room and the pool is a delight. Great base to visit surrounding areas (Noto, Ragusa, Modica etc). Brilliant breakfast and dining area.

As part of being in the countryside, wasps and flies are occasional. Pizza was average, but still enjoyed it - heard better things about rest of menu.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly. The room was beautiful and the pool area was fantastic. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. Would definitely stay again

Shower was a little small but not a big issue

Charming hotel in the countryside perfectly placed for exploring Modica, Ragusa and val di Noto. Breakfast was delicious, staff was very helpful and the swimming pool is a great way to cool down at the end of the day.

This is a beautiful 17th century farmhouse , we arrived late evening the hotel made contact via WhatsApp and offered to stay around to see us to our room at 11pm , which was very kind .We were impressed on arrival what a beautiful place to stay . An Italian family were celebrating in the courtyard and it was a really nice atmosphere.The room was away from the courtyard so was nice and quiet .The pool area is easily accessible with nice comfy sunbeds . This was a great base to visit Noto, Syracuse , Ragusa and Modica .I would definitely recommend a stay here the breakfast was lovely too .

The b'fast was very good and varied. Pool was lovely too. We had a very lovely dinner and was served by a very friendly, knowledgeable and young waiter unfortunately forgot his name.

The room had one window at the very top of a high wall which could not be reached.

Highly recommended ! This property exceeded all our expectations. Very authentic, clean and well organized. Staff was very helpful and prepared gluten free options just for us. Breakfast was amazing with many different items to choose from! They also provide lunch and dinner.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Peaceful and remote location. The hotel was stunning and we had 2 junior suites so we had a lovely outside seating area and sun loungers. The pool was perfect to cool off during the heat of the day and there were always enough sun beds. A car is must staying here as the nearest town is 15 minutes away and the beach is just over 30 minutes. Was my first time driving abroad and the roads were very easy to navigate. The restaurant is extremely popular with the locals so you must book in advance to reserve a table but they do squeeze you in if you decide to dine last minute.

We had a slight ant problem in the kitchen but reception gave us some spray to use which helped. Other than that we had no complaints.

Very nice country hotel. Our rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Wifi was perfect and password protected. Nice breakfast buffet.

There should be more sunbeds near the swimming pool. Some guests left their beach towels on the beds for various hours without showing up. The hotel management should be more strict on this.

Both hotel and restaurant guests respected each other’s peace and privacy, making our stay all the more enjoyable.We had a fantastic time and will definitely return.

It’s a beautiful rural location within 30 min drive of several beaches and beautiful southern Sicilian towns

The history and the team

Beautifully restored rustic building, with a wonderful garden and swimming pool. Eating outside in a cobbled courtyard was a delight. The junior suite was clean and tidy with great beds and everything we needed. The staff were excellent and very friendly, the food superb.
