Modica Boutique Hotel

A very modern facility that feels right. The location is great for anyone with a car, but is not near the tourist sights. Free garage space adds to the value. My room was large with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast buffet was also fine.

Easy to access by car (there is even a gas station in front!), easy to park. Breakfast was a nice buffet with the usual cold cuts and cheese, breads, sweets, coffees. Room was clean. Staff was accommodating, spoke English, two grocery stores right by the hotel. A utilitarian, by-the-side-of-the-highway type hotel.

The sink was too modern - had an electric eye, so to keep the water running you have to hold one hand in front of the eye while you wash and rinse one hand at a time. And the faucet was so high and the sink shaped just right to get splashed every time you're able to persuade the water to come on. Bed was hard, but to be fair, I slept in a twin bed meant for a child, in a family room.

The Modica Boutique Hotel is a good, modern establishment with spacious and airy rooms and convenient basement parking. Check-in was smooth, and the room was perfectly comfortable—nothing great, but nothing bad either. Guests should be aware that the hotel is located in the new part of Modica, approximately 10 kilometres away from the historic Old Town. Its location, however, is strategic in the sense that it is centrally situated between Modica Old Town and the Old Town of Scicli, making it a good base for visiting both.

The room light sensors that turn off fast even if there is motion in the room. Especially inconvenient when one is in the bathroom. It was reset at our request but our friends in the other room did not request for help and just had to deal with the inconvenience.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with so many delicious choices. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and helpful — they went above and beyond to assist me. The people here made me feel so welcome that I truly fell in love with Modica. Having a free parking area was a huge bonus and made everything even easier. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

The only small thing to note is that the room fragrance was a bit too strong for me, and made me feel slightly dizzy. But overall, everything else was perfect and I still had a wonderful stay!

We stayed two nights at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The walk in showers comfortable. We also ate at the hotel bistro' and we loved the food. The only downside was that we would have liked the warm breakfast items to be actually warm.

This is the place I always return to when I arrive in Sicily. On my tenth visit Lorenzo and his staff made sure to reserve my favorite room which is on the top level and overlooking modern Modica. The breakfast is a feast and the free parking the cherry on the cake. Thank you all at Modica Boutique Hotel, I will be back!

Lovely place and very welcoming, parking is great, breakfast is very good although i am vegan. Room comfortable and clean. Location easy access to go anywhere and return in the evening. Close to Pozzallo if you want to go out in the evening and even restaurants in the area. Great place and will visit over and over again.

Pillows can be better as too hard.

Breakfast needs to be kept topped up when dishes empty and tables cleaned. Otherwise very good.

It's not our first time at the Modica Boutique hotel and we always rebook this hotel . This place has all the requirements for a pleasantful holiday . The staff are all so helpful as always , breakfast is good and vast, rooms always clean, big and comfortable bed & pillows, excellent water pressure in the shower , free parking . Free natural or sparkling water is always available on each floor since there is a dispenser and this is a big bonus .Thank you Lorenzo, Antonio, Maria Grazia, Simona and all the rest of the staff for making our stay memorable as always .
