- Very nice stuff, very clean room, very nice breakfast and amazing restaurant ☺️
- The resort was modern, clean, light and airy in the middle of the countryside near Noto. The staff was amazing , really going out of their way to help. We tried to have a spa session but the timing did not work out as it was only available late pm after we already checked out, we should have stayed an extra day! The highlight was the restaurant. Kudos to the chef for his delicate, delicious and well presented food. Plentiful too and very reasonable prices We ate there both nights. Fantastic
- it's an excellent resort. indoor pool. gym, friendly employees etc... Will surely return
Cons -
- I didn’t know I need to pay extra money for sauna and relaxing area , I didn’t expect extra cost
- The pool seemed a little dirty and green near the edges. Mind you it was late Sept and it did not get much use for the season end I guess
- opening time of indoor pool was 3pm

Lovely place nice quiet and very tidy. Hotel staff are very friendly. Good value for money. Need your own transport.
The staff were all locals which gives you a more welcoming feel. The restaurant is exceptionally good, silver service and very reasonably priced.
Lovely hotel, very clean and airy. Friendly reception, breakfast, and cleaning staff. Large selection at breakfast. The room was large, clean, and airy, with a nice large bed and plenty of storage. It had electric blinds but no full-size mirror. Good-sized pool with steps and a slope. The pool had a good-sized deep and shallow end, plus a very shallow area for younger children. Used the gym, but there was no bike, and the air conditioning wasn't working until the next day. The hotel also had a good, modern paddle court. As a base for the area, it’s a perfect hotel.
We booked two rooms in mid-June for mid-August and requested that the rooms be next to each other, as the second room was for our youngest and oldest children. However, although the rooms were on the same floor, they were at opposite ends. We also decided to book an "Executive Room" for ourselves and a standard room for the two boys. Unfortunately, the executive room did not have a full-length mirror (apart from the bathroom mirror), so my wife couldn't properly do her hair, makeup, or check her appearance. Additionally, there was no clothes-drying hanger in the executive room, leaving us with nowhere to hang damp towels, although the standard room did have both. The bar also closes too early. As a base for visiting smaller towns like Scicli, Modica, and Ragusa in the evening, we often returned to find the bar closed around 11ish.
The staff was very accommodating and welcoming and the receptionist was available throughout our entire stay. They also took care of scheduling taxis for us whenever we needed. They knew English very well as well. The hotel was very clean and very quiet and had a lot of areas where you can sit in peace and enjoy the view. The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing. The breakfast offered has a wide selection of sweet pastries and also offered a range of savoury options too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Superb tidiness. The resort is very quiet and a very good stay for relaxation
The restaurant is not tailored for families with young children and youths who love to eat bulky plates and the spa opens very late hence one cannot opt for treatments in the mornings on week days. The rest all amazing
Breakfast worth it. The Michelin star restaurant in the hotel is actually good value for money. Will definetely come back
The ac was not strong enough to beat the heat in d room. And The Internet connection leaves much to be desired
I liked the swimming pool and the facilities available as Spa and Gym, as well as I loved the terrace and the room was very comfortable.
A discordant note could be the TV is so small in the room and the WiFi not so performing
Great property, great location.
Exhaust on balcony constantly dripping on us. Wifi didn’t work in room.We were told we had to pay for kettle… which is at the standard of a youth hostel.
The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and gave us a lot of info for our super short stay. Breakfast superb with a lot of choice. We had not time to try the spa and the pool but we will be back soon.
We had dinner at the hotel which was great, and location very good
Spa facilities not included in price, received email stating this right after I booked the room. We had to leave early morning cause ferry was anticipated cause of bad weather and we were not even offered a packed breakfast, we had to miss it. ? No good WiFi reception in our room.
Nice location in the countryside. The staff is super nice and the pool is great. Breakfast was good
The Spa area is a bit run down and uncomfortable.
This place never fails to impress. Beautifully decorated and deserves a 4 star ⭐ if not 5 ! Excellent breakfast , minimalist , quiet , great parking. Super friendly staff. Definitely recommendable.
The Resort was very comfortable and spacious. We booked a Junior Suite which was seconds away from the main block. I would recommend this for a family of 4. Breakfast was also included and lovely.
serenity of the place
limited umbrellas and deckers next to pool on particular days
Review: Pietre Nere Resort & Spa - A Haven of Warmth and LuxuryFrom the start, my experience with Pietre Nere Resort & Spa has been exceptional. The swift and effective communication with the resort stood out even before our arrival, setting the tone for our stay. The politeness and efficiency in their interactions made me feel valued, and their philosophy of creating a 'home away from home' truly shines through. The picturesque resort features a serene pool area that immediately relaxes the mind and a spa that rejuvenates the soul. While the gym is adequately equipped, more cooling would elevate the experience, and adding a couple more mats would be good. While cozy and comfortable, our room showed minor wear and tear, mirroring the bathroom. Modernizing electrical outlets for today's gadgets and multiple devices would be a welcome update. However, a special shoutout to housekeeping for their impeccable service – the efficiency and cleanliness is commendable! The dining experience is another feather in the cap for Pietre Nere. Every meal was a treat, from the delightful breakfasts served with the freshest ingredients to the BBQ lunch that tantalized our taste buds. A special mention for the dinner we had - the waiter was the epitome of hospitality. His genuine desire to ensure our happiness and satisfaction with our meal was palpable. The reception staff deserves accolades for their warmth and infectious smiles, ensuring every guest feels welcome.Pros:The scenic beauty of the resort.Exceptional dining experiences.Top-notch service from an incredible staff.
Cons:Wifi could be more robust outside the reception area. The gym temperature needs adjustment.Lack of modern electrical outlets in the rooms.Despite the minor drawbacks, the warmth and dedication of the staff overshadow them. I wholeheartedly give Pietre Nere Resort & Spa a stellar rating and remain hopeful that they'll iron out the few kinks for an even better experience in the future. Highly recommended! ?????
The hotel is modern, spacious and fairly kept. Parking was very good. Room are quite large and comfortable. The staff were professional and ready to help. Breakfast was very good, especially the sweet section. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed our time by the pool.
The only problem was other inconsiderate guests. Family with young kids made havoc on our floor.
It’s great location for an immediate stay after arriving from Pozzallo port. Great parking area. Feels safe and secure clean and comfortable. No regrets
The restaurant menu and the restaurant food need a good upgrade
