Modica Palace Hotel

We appreciated several aspects of our stay, including the decent breakfast, the friendly and helpful staff, and the convenient parking facilities

There were, however, a few issues. An event at the hotel led to excessive noise in the evening, which made it difficult to unwind. Although the room was spacious and clean, it felt dated and in need of some attention; the shower tray was broken, and the bathroom had an odd smell.

The bar had very limited options and the restaurant was closed ! It was weekend and thank god we had our car as otherwise no restaurants are available nearby.

Nice view, with swimming pool. Bed comfortable.

We havent been informed that there is going to be a DJ night /party. Music was loud. It turn down a little only from 23:30…Swimming pool water seems not moving, without filters or smth..Toilet flush was loud, water running a little bit, doors of shower cabin was hard to move, seems it was broken little..Also restaurant wasnt working, so around area - didnt find restaurants close to hotel.. Had to move with car..Moreover, during breakfast I took the glass for juice - it was dirty, with lipstick on it..And all other glasses seemed not clean…

The staff in particular Ms. Serena were very helpful the same Serena helped us out in a quite awkward situation as we had the dinner booked only to know that it was to be served in another hotel 1 km away. Since we were not with a car it was quite difficult to get there. But then Ms. Serena made us stay a bit more in the room to counter what happened. Much appreciated. The breakfast staff were very nice as well. The hotel is nice

The only thing that happened was about the dinner accident. Also we went on a Sunday and the pool was full of people so we had no places where to stay near the pool. But then on Monday and Tuesday it was quiet and we could stay there peacefully.

The location, it was very quiet and very clean

The hotel does not have it’s own restaurant it would have been nice to have a small pizzeria or pasta restaurant

Everything was good!Very nice , quiet location and very nice hotel ! Nice area by the pool ! Breakfast was good as well , but sometimes was not enough bacon

The Hotel is in an excellent location with parking. It was very clean even around the pool area. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were very helpful in anything we needed.

Premises very clean, helpful staff. Excellent location especially when travelling with a car due to it’s parking space.

We had a pleasant stay. The staff are extremely friendly and the hotel is very well kept. The location is ideal for a family trip. We will surely visit again soon!

Great hotel, super clean & well maintained.Very pet friendly - room was clean & spacious with a mini fridge.Area is quiet, supermarket & some bars/pizzerias within walking distance but you need a car to visit Modica etc, super close to Scicli which is a beautiful town.Breakfast & pool were amazing, big secure car park and overall reasonable price!

Balcony slightly on small side and coffee machine would be a nice extra touch.

Clean and comfortable hotel. The hotel is pet friendly which was a plus since we were travelling with our little dog. I recommend 100%

More attention in keeping the breakfast buffet table always with food.

The hotel is modern, very well sited and my room and shower were very good. Breakfast was really good and having it near the pool area is really nice.

The car park really needs some shading as it is totally uncovered and cars become ovens in the Sicilian sun!

We book this hotel but it is closed. Instead we were sent to Modica Boutique hotel (same owner).The Boutique hotel has nice rooms, clean, modern. Good wifi. Good breakfast, dog friendly. But the hotel is part of a petrol station. No parking spaces outside, only in the underground garage, which is very tight for spaces, if your car is more than 4m long you will struggle as spaces are short and there are lots of pillars. Swimming pool is closed for winter and full of brown water.No good views from the street side rooms (petrol station, main street), or the back side (appartment blocks). Located between 2 supermarkets on a main street with lots of roundabouts

They keep taking bookings for this hotel when it is closed. They instead send you to a not as good hotel, the "Boutique" hotel. Not very honest to be fair.

Great place to stay especially if you own an electric car. Helpful staff.

Restaurant was not open but still there was a great Japanese restaurant in the vicinity.
