Appart'City Classic Marseille Aéroport - Vitrolles

Room was filthy and not very hospitable.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the king size bed was very nice have. The bedding was clean, soft and folded nicely on the bed. Wifi and tv were a luxury as we prepared for our flight.

The drains in the bathroom smelt very badly, it got to the point that we couldn't spend any non-essential time in the washroom. The smell went away slightly when showering as it washed the smell down the drains, but it came back within minutes of completing using the shower. When we entered our unit the garbage's were full from the last tenant of the room, it smelled like rotting dairy.

The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was that I got in after the front desk closed. I had asked for a late check in but my flight got delayed even longer. The hotel didn't provide me with the code to open the front door, or the code to get my key out of the safe. I arrived at midnight and had no way to call the number (no cell service in France) so I was stuck outside alone. Thankfully a French woman came to the hotel and was kind enough to call the number for me to get access and to get my key from the safe. It was pretty stressful. If you arrive late, make sure you can call the hotel before 8 pm if the email doesn't have the codes in them.

I needed a place to stay the night because I had a really early flight out the next day. The room was perfect for one night.

It's a little isolated if you don't have a vehicle. There's only a few restaurants within walking distance.

2 different sofas in 2 rooms.

There was a foul smell in the shower when I turned the water on, there were bugs in the kitchen sink, and twice in the morning before I checked out, the cleaning lady came into my room without knocking or checking if someone was in there.

The location is half an hour's walk from the airport, on a very ok path

We were a group of 4 people. Those who stayed in the bedroom had the quilt. We sat on the sofa bed. Comfortable. But we wrapped ourselves in a sheet and a blanket. It was quite cold.

Bad

The booking sent me one message in english about some codes I will receive. I did not receive anything and could not cancel the stay. The reception hours in the booking and in the message are waaaay different.Since my flight was late, I landed in the midle of the night. Somehow google maps showed that you can travel there on foot, but it just isn't walkable (not the properties fault). I decided to turn around after walking through the fields and reaching dead end.I turned around and went to ibis hotel. I do not recomend this property if you need to stay for one night, not worth it as information is confusing.

Never again

Everything was disgusting. Room was not clean for long time. Definitely not looking like on pictures. Heating was not working so we need to put extra clothes on us. Reception closed after we arrived so unfortunately you can’t ask for new room.

Room was very clean and comfortable.very convenient to the surroundings and well maintained.

The location and near airport.

It is near the airport.

Power went off after arriving and we could not get it back on. The place was not very clean, but also not dirty.

Good location from the airport. It’s even possible to walk from the train station and from the airport. Kitchen with the fridge in the room.

Price doesn’t match with the quality. When someone smoked or cooked in the room the smell went to our room. The hallways and the rooms were kind of old.

Perfect location, next to the airport, for those who have early departures or late arrivals. The room was very clean and Contained well equipped kitchen facilities.

this is the worst hotel in Europe. they triple charged me and i spent a month arguing with booking to get a refund. the hotel staff is deceitful and kept lying until Booking finally forced them to pay me back. Stay away from them. they use their own payment system to scam guests. Double check your account statements if you ever stayed with them
