The hotel is situated outside of Verona in a charming town surrounded by vineyards and picturesque villas. It is very pleasant drive back to the hotel to unwind from visiting Verona. Side note: The restaurant is a major draw and requires reservations, which we were unable to obtain. It was a bummer since it was packed every evening. We chose the hotel because other reviewers commented on the bountiful breakfast. They did have a big spread of cakes and cookies. If you like a sweet breakfast, then this would be perfect for you. It is a good price (7€) and they will make you scrambled eggs on request at this price.

We were in a strange room at the top of the hotel that lacked windows (except in the bathroom, which was hard for modesty reasons). There were only two skylights in the bedroom and they were curtained and challenging to open so that we couldn't open them in the evenings for a bit of fresh air. Additionally, the room smelled of the wood used to make speck. It made quite an impression, and we couldn't figure out the source the first night. The next morning, we had the windows open and discovered that the smell must come from the restaurant kitchen. It smelled like the room was on fire. YIKES.

The hotel is in a really nice location, has plenty of parking and is a 20min drive from Verona. The room was nice and clean and the hosts were great!

The surroundings are so beautiful. Close to Venice, still having the quiet of the country side but with all the facilities. Great great hosts, very confortable room, a wonderful family restaurant with delicious dishes. Plus, a pizza place nearby with great view.

The young lady on reception was speaking, clear and concise english. Excellent host throughout our stay. Dinner was excellent with great service. Breakfast was very good again with great service. Parking in garage was made available for those on motorcycle and car parking oposite entrance gates off road.

Perhaps located on roadside and you can be dealing with some fast traffic when crossing.

I recently enjoyed a stay at this lovely hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you step inside.Its location is ideal for travelers with cars, offering easy access to major roads and highways. This convenience made exploring the surrounding area a breeze and added to the overall enjoyment of my trip.

The room was clean and modern with a small terrace, the bed was very comfortable and good & tasty selection for breakfast. For the restaurant you should reserve a table as its popular

We booked very late in the day and they accomodated us when another one hadn't so we've very grateful for that. Amazing view from the top terrace.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. The (Italian) breakfast was nice and the restaurant was excellent for a late dinner (and full of locals, which is always a good sign).

Tucked in the scenic vineyard valley, Albergo Grobberio is a sweet place of family-run. The team here were vivacious to make guests feel at home and my special thanks to the bella who offered a drive to nearby railway station.Room was so spacious, well equipped with air-condition that was great boon to me after a full day of heat outside. Despite the language disparity, the hosts will put in effort to explain. In nutshell, no barrier.

Good value, Friendly staff, lovely restaurant, nice buffet breakfast

Not a criticism but in hindsight we should have hired a car as we were in area for a wedding and it was difficult to get around by taxi/ bus in area.

The location was excellent, and the restaurant was incredible! The service was fantastic as well! Absolutely loved the place!!

My one recommendation is that you provide a shower mat, the shower was incredibly slippery.

The beds were too hard for us (although we prefer harder beds), and the pillow too - I know these are huge problems ;)We stayed on the top floor, where the windows were 'on the floor' - a bit strange.Shower cabin was rather small. It could be a problem for people with larger size.
