Breakfast was superb. Cofortable bed.

Room was a tad warm and difficult to cool down.

Our stay was amazing! The restaurant downstairs serves delicious meals and has great breakfast in the mornings with variety of food for everyone. The room was very clean and warm. We had a great time here!

Good food- a fantastic white asparagus menu, excellent breakfast. Reasonably sized room with balcony, quiet room in spite of being on a thorough fare.

Most personnel were very nice, but two or three seemed to be just doing their job, posing a sour face, barely greeting guests and being rather impatient. Not a good presentation to the outside from a hotel and restaurant.I do not understand why screens were not fitted to windows allowing open windows on hot nights. We had windows closed to avoid being bothered by mosquitoes.

Lovely hotel we was in a room on the other side of the road but it didn’t take away our experience of this hotel it was very busy on the Saturday we was there and the restaurant was full up but we had made a reservation the room was clean and warm it didn’t have tea making facilities but in the morning I was able to get a flask of hot water to take to my room it was not a problem the staff were very friendly and helpful

The brekfast was wonderfull. The restaruant was also nice, it had all types of beer. The room was clean and the beds were comfy.

The room had a bit of cobwebs in some hidden places.

It would be nice to have a free bottle of water in the room. I work in a small hotel in Germany and they provide a small bottle of drinking water.

The rooms are well equipped with considerable space and balcony. Good plumbing. I consider this one of the best quality/cost stays I have seen, hence the unusual exceptional score.Staff are professional and very courteous, and the hotel welcomes guests as exactly that - it is clear they take great pride in the service delivered.

I think it could help to be a bit more obvious about what parking one should use.Outside the weekends it might be awkward. Of course the hotel does not claim to have its own parking. That is clear, so no suggestion of fault.

Dinner and rooms

Smart, spacious, recently remodeled room with an attractive bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and not too expensive. Worth staying for the food alone.

Stayed at this hotel many times, always busy this tells you all you need to know.Large room , comfortable bed, walk in shower. Breakfast and dinner perfect.

They are suffering from not sufficient staff, like many places in Germany.

It was a lovely location. Good sized room for 4 of us. Breakfast was fabulous.

There was no hot water for my shower! However when my son went in the bathroom some time later the hot water was back on!

Buffet breakfast was nice, not huge, but it had all that you needed.We didn't come up short on any of the items and our kids enjoyed the hot chocolate.

When you enter the hotel, you have to go through the restaurant, with not really clear directions and a very small reception staff,We were not received as we were expected in a hotel, no smile or nice words.There is no elevator, so we have to take our trolley up stairs by hand.It was a warm day and besides opening windows there was no other way provided for getting some fresh air. There is no aircondition, but what should have been provided is some fan's to make for a more easy sleeping.In our case the windows of our room faced the back, which is the staff relaxation area, so you will also get the noise of them talking. (suite in the old building)The entrance to our room was messy, there was a table on the left side with pillows on it and on the right side was the door to the laundry/ironing room, which was left open.The internet in this hotel we consider non-existant, if you were lucky, you might get a few messages through wifi and no fixed internet connection was available in the room.The room does not have any information brochure on the hotel itself, so everything you need to know, you need to ask.

EVENTUALLY we liked most of it, but it was utter chaos when we arrived to check-in. Dozens of folk were milling around - some to stay, some to eat......even a wedding celebration. Check-in was at 5 pm and we were given our key and directed to our room....... the beds were stripped from previous occupants but the bedding was littered across the room - untidy and unclean. We were asked to give them fifteen minutes and we were delighted with the transformation. So in the end the room was very good - very spacious with a first-class ensuite.

In addition to the above, we eventually liked our meal - booked months in advance, but again chaotic. We were shown to our table outside - very nice, but we waited, waited and waited. Fifteen minutes later there was a deluge of rain that lasted for the rest of the evening. Everyone was shown to a table inside, and after ten minutes we were still waiting for someone to come and take our order. More people arrived for a meal and we were asked to move to a different table so that a larger group could be accommodated. We eventually managed to place an order and in the end enjoyed our food.On the top floor, the hotel was still undergoing some refurbishments to the bedrooms etc - there was debris all over the place that gave a very bad impression!

The staff was super nice and helpful. The restaurant has a great selection of meals and drinks, and food was also delicious, staff were very attentive. Same can be said about breakfast.The location is also great, easy to find parking.
