    Pros +

    • The staff, especially Sylvian, was absolutely amazing—very kind and incredibly helpful. At times, he even went out of his way to assist us and our children, which made a big difference to our stay. The family room was spacious, well laid out, and perfect for traveling with young children—we had plenty of room to relax and store our things, which made our stay comfortable. The hotel is also ideally located with easy access to major routes leading to Strasbourg and Colmar, as well as many of the scenic Alsace villages, including Obernai itself. It made our road trip through the region incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Being only about 50 minutes by road to Offenburg, the hotel also served as a great base for exploring the Black Forest
    • The building it self is good. Location is not very far from station, 10 mins walk.Breakfasts is available. The staff were kind to accept the request for our breakfast the same day. Parking is available.
    • Very kind staff, clean and calm

    Cons -

    • The breakfast spread was quite basic, with limited variety, especially for children. It would have been nice to have a few more kid-friendly options. Also, the commode in the toilet was placed a bit awkwardly, making it slightly uncomfortable to sit. That said, these were minor issues and didn’t significantly affect our overall experience.
    • So the rooms were small for our 5 day stay. There is no space to store suitcases either. Bathrooms are small too. The cleaning was inconsistent. We had used plates which were not cleared and the dust bins were not removed. Drinking water is not provided everyday either. The staff are not friendly. They speak like they want to intimidate. We walked in the first time to check in and the staff did not even bother to greet us, instead was just sitting in the reception.Breakfast required us to book in advance unlike most other hotels where we can just walk in.
    • It would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Very kind staff, clean and calm

    10KathleenPosted on: 10-6-2024

Easy parking, real people to help you, clean, enough towels. Nice patio and attractive decoration.

    9NadinePosted on: 9-11-2024

Hotel was exactly as expected although the garden and swimming pool were better than anticipated. Location was exactly right for us as we didn’t want to be right in the centre of town and parking was secure and a bonus.

It would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

    Bed is okay

The very cold reception, swimming pool better in picture. Stinky carpet

    8GiuseppePosted on: 8-7-2024

The hotel is perfectly located just outside Obernai historical downtown.Easy to reach and at walkable distance to the center.Parking in loco is a nice plus. The backyard is beautiful and the swing pool very enjoyable during the hot season.Staff is helpful and very kind.

Rooms are a little too small. With one luggage on the floor your barely have space to move around.Furniture does need a revamp. And it misses a water boiler and coffee maker although we could get them easily by asking to the reception.

    6EvaPosted on: 8-4-2024

The pool and garden are beautiful.

The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Ventilation is bad and furniture is old and dusty. In the duplex there is a kitchenette that also needs renovation.

Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Very nice staff.Private parking.

Unfortunately there is no restaurant but no problem as there are many in the center of Obernai which is very close.

    7StephenPosted on: 6-13-2024

    Communal seating area was spacious

Limited hot breakfast options, no smoked salmon, only small croissants.

    9KathleenPosted on: 6-12-2024

Staff was great. Good breakfast. Nice grounds surrounding the building which made it seem like we were in a park. Room was sufficient. Everything was very clean. There was a good place to store my e-bike overnight.

    9GeorgePosted on: 4-11-2024

Nice modern hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Situated on nice grounds, with parking. Three minute drive to free parking for old town. Nice breakfast buffet.

Bath tub difficult to enter and exit for mobility challenged persons.

    7AbibulaPosted on: 1-4-2024

-parking -pool (but only in summer)

-rather old building-very cold in the room (in the winter time only AC working to make heat)-quite isolated from center (but at walking distance)-high price vs quality (overpriced in winter time/ during christmas market)

    9KirstyPosted on: 12-29-2023

Lovely place just outside the centre but in easy walking distance. Staff were very friendly and the place was neat

    Nothing of concern for us

    10ChristyPosted on: 12-20-2023

This was a lovely hotel. The staff was amazing and it had an elevator. The have actual metal keys for the door instead of a card. It was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced.

I wish it had a refrigerator as amany do now but it wasn't really a big issue.

    7WoutPosted on: 9-14-2023

The garden is really nice. Location and staff are good.

It is a bit outdated and this is reflected in the cleanliness but also comfort of the room and other hotel areas. Also there were a lot of musquitos both in the room as well as near the pool

    10GlennPosted on: 9-1-2023

Great location, great people running the place and it has a great amount of space for kids to use the pool, the table tennis table. There is a large amount of space to run around which is fantastic. Rooms are really well kept and the loft bedroom has an awesome feel to it.

    Nothing really, it was great.

    10HenkPosted on: 8-25-2023

The man who brings the drinks by the pool was very kind and helpfull

The rooms are a bit grey, not so cosy

    8JamesPosted on: 8-15-2023

The pool was excellent. The parking was generous and there were a series of shops very closeby. The property did not offer food other than a continental breakfast and so allowed you to bring takeaway food inc pizzas etc into the property from the adjacent and unrelated shopping area to eat beside the bar.- this was fantastic.

The decor of the hallways was dark and our room was smaller than expected with a small window, but it was clean and functional.
