    Pros +

    • Wonderful location and perfect choice for a visit to the Obernai and Alsace Christmas markets. The reception staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful. As the hotel parking was full we parked around the corner at Parking Remparts, a free public parking, which was almost more convenient to come and go from. The hotel staff will give directions upon arrival.
    • Location. Comfortable. Large room. Quiet
    • Beautiful old (medieval?) building located right in the heart of this beautiful town

    Cons -

    • The beds are comfortable but you need to be a fan of harder beds.
    • Not the best wifi but still ok.
    • The air in the room was stale, but was ok after opening the windows.

Comfortable room with nice bathroom. Easy access to the velo routes we used to travel around the Alsace. Covered bike storage rack inside the hotel terrace. Breakfast buffet was good. Location was excellent. Staff were very kind.

Warm and helpful reception. The hotel is old, with very different rooms in various parts of the charming building. Our room was spacious, with comfortable beds.Breakfast is good.

Very clean hotel with large rooms and delicious breakfast. Thank you!

Alsacian charm. A/C. Comfortable beds and pillows. We slept like babies! Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast. Great location. Free public parking behind property.

Not the best wifi but still ok.

    Central location, AC, 24/7 reception.

The air in the room was stale, but was ok after opening the windows.

The site was under construction creating an extremely difficult situation. We were never informed and never would have booked if given the information. Even a heads up would have been appreciated because it lead to a terrible experience with drop off.

It was so cleverly modified from its origins. Loved how they kept the history with modern conveniences. Thank you for welcoming our dog.

    Everything was great!

Great location, very easy to talk everywhere. Room was comfortable and check in was easy.

We didn't realise the hotel parking wasn't available due to construction, which made the drive through the town a little stressful. There is still free parking in the public carpark out the back, but it is a small walk and not clear when arriving.

The hotel was surrounded by roads being dug up so parking unavailable but the hotel told us about alternate parking which was free. The hotel has no lift but our room was large and comfortable on the first floor. Breakfast was very good but no evening meals. The town is on the doorstep. Convenient for a day trip to Strasbourg

Very cozy and lovely historical building

The room was on a ground floor and windows to inside garden, so it was very noisy when someone passed by. And the air in a room was a bit “stuck”, so we had do sleep with an open window, which wasn’t working very well.

Location close to the centre of town with a huge parking area close by. I'll stay there again.

It's a little tired and could benefit from renovation especially in the wet rooms.

Good location. Decent price. Nice view of city wall behind hotel.

Our train arrived in Obernai at 12:00 pm. We had contacted the hotel a week prior to see if we could store our luggage until check-in and they said yes. On arrival, we told the clerk that we had a reservation for today. She rudely interrupted and yelled, "No, check in is at 3:00!!". Shocked, my wife told her we were simply letting her know we had arrived. We asked if we could store our luggage and she initially said no, then rolled her eyes and grudgingly found room. The courtyard looks quaint, but the rooms are very tired and have exterior access like a motel. No fault of the hotel, but just a heads up-the street in front of the hotel is under construction and completely torn-up. Looks like a long-term situation.

Very nice hotel, practically in the center. Indoor parking available, but you can park outside.good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Great location near the centre of town

The room was too hot. Our room was road side so when we opened the window it was noisy. The toilet was a bit strange with this strange partition wall at the side which made it feel like in a was in a tiny space. The scrambled egg at breakfast was very sad and dry. The fruit salad tasted of nothing (it had obviously been made too long in advance). No hand cream. On the photos the hotel looked atmospheric but it lacked that atmosphere.

    8PavlosPosted on: 12-18-2024

We stayed there for a night to visit Strasbourg but eventually we found out that this village is equally beautiful. The hotel room was comfortable but basic. The staff was very informative and friendly

    7ZhiPosted on: 11-28-2024

It’s a historical building, very authentic. Right across the road from the old town Center, very convenient.

No lift, so it was a nightmare to haul our luggage up to the room. Rooms we booked are small, not much space for unpacking luggage. Toilet and bathroom are cramped, but given it’s a historical building, that was expected.

    9MehmetPosted on: 10-23-2024

Perfect historic hotel with a lot of character. Very good location, parking available for the ones come by car. Breakfast was very good, rooms are comfy.
