We wish we wouldn’t have stayed here!

Location, outdated, not very clean, small room

The breakfast is actually both very Italian and very good (assuming that you like sweets for breakfast, as I do :-) )

Well, this a very basic standard; staff only speaks Italian, the bed is so-so. We knew that before we arrived---the problem with Mazara is that there also not really many alternatives. We mainly stayed there because it is relatively convenient for visiting archaelogical sites such as Segesta and Seliunte.

Hmm. Nothing except the low price.

Our room was small and the shower so small it was unusable (less than 12 inches wide at one end. ) there was mold in the shower. The mattress was thin. The staff was rather grumpy.

Only positive surprises, very nice staff, very good service, very good bed, very good airco

The hotel has the charm of a bygone era. It is close to the ferry terminal. A city beach is a 10 min walk. The old town is easily reached by car or foot with a boat shuttle. The staff were friendly, but monolingual.

Not so much didn't like but just non positive comments...this is an old port hotel as the ferry terminal is just in front and down the street. King bed was two soft twins pushed together. Room door bolt could not be closed by the key, only front inside though, like almost all other interior locked doors in Sicily, the door only opens with the key. We paid a very high premium for the room since we were traveling over the Assumption weekend and only making reservations a day or two ahead, so I cannot comment on value for price at regular rates. The internet router for our floor did not work even though it was plugged in and on. The breakfast is limited to pastries, bottled juice in a small indoor area.
