Aqua Hotel Aquamarina & Spa

Pool was nice although one of the pools wasn’t in use. The bed was very comfortable and the hospitality was great.

The price went up for my hotel when I tried to change the reservation. I was given one price on the phone but a different price when I checked in.

Staff extremely friendly, rooms and facilities super clean. The food at the restaurant, although limited in selection was very high quality. Pool area very spacious never had a problem finding loungers.The location is fantastic, walking distance to anything you may desire.

All inclusive package was very expensive to not include any drinks at all, even had to pay for water.

-the food was good. although there were no allergens listed next to dishes and i had gluten allergy outbreak from eating meat, yoghurt and veggies only. means there was gluten in meat seasoning. - easy access to Barcelona by train (1 hour)

The biggest disappointment was hotel not providing drinking water and not having a shop on site. we, a family of 4, had to walk 20 minutes one way to the supermarket and drag very heavy 6x1,5L packs of water every second day. we stayed for 10 days so you can imagine we needed water!! they only offer tiny 200ml bottles for 2 euros at the bar. you would need a thousand of those bottles for the holiday. it was ridiculous. we paid 5000 euros for the holiday and had to spend 40 minutes walking in the heat every second day and dragging blocks of water to the hotel we paid so much for!

I think the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The rooms needs an update and the bed are not very comfortable. Everything else was good

I liked the food we had a variety of dishes to choose from.i also like the pool area it was sunny enough to dive right intonthe pool.i liked that the hotel has several shopping stores right infront of the hotel.the train was just steps away from the hotel..I also liked the space in the room with a small balcony was nice..

I didn't like that even a simple service like a charger or help me charge at the counter for a few minutes on arrival to help me be able to pay the transactions was rejected...I didn't even like that a 4star hotel has no cattle in the room and the said bar in the room is just a small empty fridge in the room...

Quite an old building that affected the standard of the hotel.

We were really impressed with this hotel. The staff were fantastic, the restaurant staff were so friendly and efficient and the amount of activities they have for kids and adults is impressive.It is only an hour away from Barcelona City Centre by train and Santa Susanna train station is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel.There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity and the beach is less than a 10 minute walk away also.The dinner buffet in the evenings is only €19 and there was so much to choose from. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were kept really clean and the housekeeping staff were always pleasant too.We stayed in room number 2115 and it was perfect for our stay.We should have stayed here longer. The atmosphere here was great.

Noise - your can hear everything from the room, even somebody walking on the corridor, it is a real issue even if you are not sensitive.Rooms have an "old smell".Breakfast - food quality quite lowBig hotel = crowded and noisy

decent place, but definitely not worth the price. buffet was abundant, decent quality, but nothing special. sauna was good. staff was kind although clearly overworked

it is not well maintained, facilities are just average, spa pools were all cold except a tiny one which was obviously full. children are allowed in the spa until 6pm, which makes it impossible to relax. way too many people seem to be allowed in the spa. they host groups of teens who are obviously noisy. rooms are not soundproof and old, there was mold above the venitilation and yellow stains on the mattress

Room had squashed flies on ceiling in bathroom , lots of hair ok floors, broken fridge, no towells in bathroom!

Very outdated and disappointing stayThe beds were old-fashioned and the mattresses were of very poor quality, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The room floor was not clean, and the entire room felt outdated. This hotel is in desperate need of a complete renovation. Would not recommend staying here until major improvements are made.

Friendly staff and easy check-in.

I was unlucky to get a room on the ground floor next to the reception and next to the elevator so it was very noisy at all times.

Lovely atmosphere at all times, very vibrant. Dining was fantastic, although it sometimes took a while to get seated, it was always worth the wait. Really friendly, kind staff and always very clean with great WiFi too. GREAT cocktails!

The personal was really polite, and reception and waiters and animators and at the buffet, everywhere. The food good and different every day. The view from the room, the spa, nice place to relax a weekend

The bed was very bad for me but for the others was ok

The communication at the check in. Not responding to my previous email about the garge. The activities were disorganised. The people were too drunk and not respecting the hotel quite night hours and we were attacked by drunk Spanish people staying in the hotel as we asked to be please more quite after 1 am so our baby and ourselves could sleep. The food was not of outermost quality and people were quiinig for 30 min to be served. We booked the spa but ir was overlycrowded and not relaxing or organized at all. 2 nights we rather went to.eat outside.as the dinner.is served very late. The outdoor pool are not cleaned.or warm enough. Overall would not recommend the stay here for this money. Very dissapointed. We did a complained as one of drunk.Spqniards told me.to go back to.my country and called me twice a gypsy. None of the staff reacted although the cameras recorded all.

The experience, I will say in this resort, not a hotel because it’s full of all the facilities to be a resort, was fantastic. As always, the great experience comes from the staff who work there starting, from our receptionist Santiago and going all the way to the spectacular team of the restaurant, Miguel, Cecilia, Silvia and Marielis. They were very available for any of our request and always ready to give us the best service. I really recommend this hotel to whoever wants to come with their families because the hospitality is their biggest strength. Thanks again to the lovely staff and looking forward to seeing you again.

Due to the age of the hotel, the acoustic isolation between the rooms is not the best, we could hear people talking inside the other rooms.
