Ibersol Sorra d'Or

The only thing I liked about this hotel was its location right in front of the beach, although the train tracks in between somewhat spoiled the atmosphere.

Parking was too tight for the hotel’s size. I booked a room with a beach view, but we were given a small room with a tiny balcony facing other rooms. The balcony door was broken (see photos), and despite asking to change room, the receptionist only called someone to fix it. We waited three hours, until around 9 p.m., even though we were exhausted — and in the morning, there was nobody at the reception.

Everything was really nice, clean. The food was delicious, every day different meals, prepared so everyone can find what one likes. Tha staff was helpfull, really comunicative and assertive.

The bed was not as comfortable and the pillows were relly thin. Not everyone loves that.

The staff was great. Excellent food and location. Fantastic value for the money.

No gym. Our bathroom door opened up to the toilet bowl, so if the toilet was being used and your wife/husband, etc, walked in, the door would hit the person using the toilet.

The balcony was plenty of poo from the pigeons, Wednesday was not animation for kids, and there were hairs in the bed sheets

The location is really good. The facilities are a bit outdated but it was clean. The double room was a bit small.

More attention needs to be paid to cleaning the rooms and washing clothes

Only one remark to say is I booked a triple room, with one double bed and one single bed but was given only two very small single beds. Wasn’t going to make a fuss for a small issue.

Right next to the railway station

Rooms were small, there is nowhere to hang your clothes and no cupboard space. Thank goodness for the extra bed where we put most of our clothes. Plus point - the bed was sooo comfortable. The staff were pleasant overall. Food okay but not exceptional but it's only a 3 star so wasn't expecting much. The hotel could do with sorting out the outside, giving it a lick of paint and sorting out the graffiti around the building which isn't a pleasant sight. Overall it's a good 3 star hotel..

The location is good, the staff is friendly. In comparison with the prices of the other hotels in the same area, the price for this hotel is reasonable.

The first day were the room and the bathroom very clean, but this cleanliness was coming worse day after day although the room was being cleaned every day by staff. It will be better to provide some cleaning tools in the room. In this case, the client can clean a bit by himself.

You get what you pay for, no frills (very) comfy bed, we were lucky it was quite quiet. Nice balcony, clean slightly leaky bathroom, all inclusive we thought was good value. Please don't expect the Ritz, think all inclusive Travelodge and you'd be along the right lines.

Opposite beach, need to use pedestrian tunnel under train line.........next to train station......all shopping near by.

Very noisy with package holiday kids running wild...Impossible to sleep till after 1am.Food poisoning from 15 Euro Buffet dinner.Many of the rooms have old air con, that doesn't work.Poor reception service

Again you get what you pay for!! Would I go back… and you can hear everything,outside the hotel you have a lot groups off young once up to no good.

The view to the sea. You can reach it quickly by underground passage under the rail. The room was clean. Food was good, truly reccomend to take dinner, it has a broad choice, also for vegetarians. We came very late (4 am) and were registered without issues. The town has all essentials. There is a big free parking in the city, around 10min walk from the hotel (train station mostly full). Guests were quite calm, mostly elderlies from Spain. You can reach Barcelona and other beaches by train (every 30 min). We had a lovely time here. And for the price we paid we got a lot!

There is a railway station under the windows (seaview). Also many homeless shouting and making a fuss day and night as they gather by the station. Most staff don't speak english. Further cities like Blane has more to offer. The place seems a bit warn out.

After having paid the entirety of my nights in advance online, I was asked to pay a supplement of...€1.56 on arrival! No parking. Residing all year round in an urbanized environment (in Paris) I would have liked to have had a sea view but I was given a room not on the 3rd but on the 1st floor on... your noisy, non-intimate and at the same time patio. bay window that didn't lock! Every evening I experienced the very loud musical atmosphere of a discotheque until 11:30 p.m.! Nevertheless excellent, very varied catering but with a glass of wine or beer for a fee!I will not return to your hotel
