    Pros +

    • The location and the staff of the Bar
    • We stayed at this hotel for 5 days, stayed in the double room, got the full board, and we didn't want to leave! The beach is a 10 minute walk, the sorrounding area is great, local bars, souvenir shops and ice creaplaceces. The hotel buffet was incredible, variety of food always, fresh fruit everyday and everything was very tasty. Staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the waiters at the restaurant were exceptional. There is a pool outside, near a bar and on certain days there are pool games and concerts by the bar. Room was completely sound proof, couldn't hear anything or anyone unless someone was directly in front of our door. Would 100% recommend, don't look at another option.
    • Poor

    Cons -

    • You get charged extra for like towels and the Safe. Pool is way to cold to swim in even in summer (not heated)The rooms facing the street are very noisy. If you look for a calm and relaxing vacation time or good food at the buffet this hotel isn’t it. Always loud music and so on… just no time to come down
    • The shower was in the main bedroom, and although a curtain was provided... if travelling with friends, not a great idea...the room was clean however a change of bedding would be recommended, the throw and cushions seemed old.
    • The establishment is not at the level they believe themselves to be. The AC in the room was not operational. The elevator is insufficient to handle the people traffic. During the morning, hot water ran out and we had to insist at reception for them to care and do something about it. Feels like it's a running issue they no longer worry about. The breakfast service collapsed due to the amount of people. Food ran out halfway through, there was no seating available and whenever something was brought, an immense queue followed. They can not handle the size of their hotel for a decent service

Alhambra hotel is my favorite place in santa suzanna. I am there at least 3 times per year , and this hotel has everything u need. Facilities wise: gym, pool, sauna , jacuzzi.Great staff , very friendly and kind.Hotel always clean, comfortable and most importantly not noisy and u can sleep well.

The Room was with 2 beds (1 single & 1 Double). But actually we requested a double room plus a baby bed. with the three beds, there was not much room left.It was fairly clean. We booked with Breakfast and Dinner... and it was very good. The air condition in the "restaurant" was very strong, too much with a baby and makes food very fast cold.

On the last day, we had a bed bug in our room.as said, the space was not much with 3 beds in a room.Extra payment for using the safe is not usual and should be an inclusive service.Loud music from the pool area in the afternoons makes in unable to read or enjoy the pool in peace. party in the evening was sufficient. But crazy loud music during the day was unnecessary. (just because the entertainment guy was bored and turned it up every day)

Excellent buffet and friendly staff. Nice location close to the beach.

We loved the hotel room & the entertainment!

The breakfast was fine but the coffee and juices tasted very bad.

I really liked this hotel. During our stay we didn't have any issues with stuff or with the level of comfort. If you have any additional questions or requests the hotel stuff will be friendly, supportive and willing to help. Breakfast was great. Despite the fact that the same set of dishes is served every day, you always have a wide range to choose. Fruits (pears, pineapples, watermelon and melon etc), vegetables, meat and cheese slices, pancakes, tosts, eggs and bakery.I also want to mention that our beds were very comfortable. We stayed in the double room with balcony (twin beds). For people who like to stay up late, I would like to recommend The Kings restaurant near the Alhambra Hotel, they work until 1am.

Safe deposit box is for the extra charge, hair dryer is a bit too weak for the long hair.

Nice room, friendly staff, good location, good food.

Kids club wasn't open like advertised

All the staff was very nice and accommodating, and the buffet had good variety so everyone could find something they liked (although not the best quality, so it took a bit of trial-and-error to find something to our taste). The live shows in the evening were done by a DJ, except for Friday where it was a live band. They were always fun, but very loud until midnight, so sometimes a bit annoying in late evenings when trying to rest. The price we payed for a last minute booking with half-board in early September was the best of the area. Very good value for money (if you bring earplugs).

The sound proofing of the rooms, or lack thereof. We could hear our loud German neighbours playing music until 1:30 am, or the upstairs neighbours moving furniture like they were redecorating their room every 30min (there are only so many things you could move in the room, yet they managed to do this for our entire stay). We could also hear the live shows very loudly through our window, which didn't close perfectly airtight (although this was checked by a technician and deemed to be fully normal, which is fair enough). Even if airtight, we would've probably still heard it quite loudly as it was playing at very high volumes.Paying 5€ per day for pool towels, with a 10€ deposit, seemed extortionate. Even touristic corner shops right outside the hotel sold some for 6€ which you can keep for life (although you probably won't want to as they are not the most pretty or good quality, but they do the job).

    Poor

The hotel and dinner was great but the shower cabin wasn't clean was hair and little stones from the beach from previous people who stay in the room and it wasn't clean properly above the cooler drinks was dirty. When I reported at the reception the lady sent someone upstairs to check but another lady came into the room i presume it was the cleaning manager and she started to talk really mean asking me WHAT IS MY PROBLEM.The cleaning staff started to use bad language i presume it was addressed to my wife there was speaking in spanish and because they need to clean again..I travel a lot but it never ever happened before.Never ever here again.

I liked the rooms, they are not big but cozy , the food is not variety but delicious

very loud live music until 12:00 at night, if you are with small children, it creates a bad atmosphere for putting the children to sleep, not comfortable for rest, at dinner and breakfast they do not have time to bring or prepare food, you have to waitalso you can't take a sandwich for a child with you it's very strict the staff is watching and following you

    8NicolaPosted on: 8-20-2024

The staff is really nice and helpful. The location is close to the beach. In the comments people complain about noise and poor cleaning: it's just not true, the hotel is in good conditions and you can ask for a quiet room, which we got. As I said, the staff is super nice and helpful! Also the gym is amazing, never seen a better equipped one in a hotel.Overall, you can't have anything better at this price point.

The only aspect that can be improved is the restaurant. Food is overall good, but there's way too much fried and pork based food. We wished there could have been a larger choice of typical Spanish dishes, and more local fish.

    10CliffordPosted on: 8-12-2024

The food was great The nightlife was great The place had great value for money

The bed was not the most comfy as we was in a posh place the night before but would go and stay there again

    8YerkinPosted on: 8-6-2024

Great location. A bit noisy as the night. Good for its price.

    4GheorghePosted on: 8-2-2024

    Nothing to mention

I get the room unsuitable for families. It has an open shower. Even if I paid for the triple room, it was like a double room with an extra doublebed.... This isn't a holiday hotel like you can have everywhere, you have to pay for everything - they milking you for safe, towel, water.... snackbar is good but more expensive than other cafes in the area. They had only 2 pools - on booking, it states -3 .

I highly recommend the Alhambra hotel. Great location in the centre of Santa Susanna, close to the beautiful beach. Very nice and helpful staff. Wide selection of dishes for breakfast and dinner. Great music and dance shows on the stage at night. I will definetely come back to Alhambra :)

    7MihaelaPosted on: 6-2-2024

    Location, very helpful staff

For families with older children a triple room is not suitable as you can be seen when showering. Never seen such thing, the shower outside without any possibility to cover the door.

    7BredaPosted on: 5-21-2024

We were listened to when we had a problem and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great. Food in the bar was good.

Our initial 3 bed room was exceptionally small with the bathroom virtually in the bedroom. 3 were booked but towels for 2 and a drink for 1.....counterpains were dirty.
