Hotel Ô Château

This iis the best 4-star hotel I have ever stayed at! It is VERY special! The chateau is utterly divine! Superbly appointed in every regard.The staff - fabulous! We mixed up our booking  which was managed with great generosity and graciousness. Everyone was friendly and responsive, discretely going out of their way to ensure the stay was fully enjoyed and our needs met.  The rooms are very large, clean, and truly majestic, offering a sense of grandeur and comfort, with modern amenities and tasteful, elegant decor. The bed was superbly comfortable.The bathroom was roomy, with a heated towel rail. The towels were luxurious; the water piping hot.The hotel's superb restaurant was a culinary delight. This is a 5-star luxury! Why only a 4 star rating? Value for money was outstanding!Thank you for the extraordinary experience we will carry with us to enhance our holiday memories and love and enjoyment of France!

Interior design is very well done; modern in a classic setting. Food is amazing and very friendly staff. Close to main road, so perfect for onward journey. Giant teddy bear on bed, was much appreciated by children.

Interior design is amazing and close to nothing else I've ever seen in a 4 star hotel. The hotel is located close to the main highway, but far enough not to have any noise from it. Staff was very efficient and friendly. The meal in the restaurant and breakfast buffet were both excellent!

Really nothing to complain about. Value for money is amazing!

Room okay, dinner great, but lack of cosy atmosphere. Dinner room also too cold.

Beautiful and well maintained place. Delicious restaurant. Exc service and they help me to coordinate in advance to have my birthday dinner with friends in a separate room to have all together.They also have a cute bar inside to go for a drink after the food.

I don't have bad things to say, just maybe that the music in the bar was a little boring.

The interior decoration was very beautiful. The dinner was delicious. Breakfast was good but average. The staff is very attentive and with a top level service. The room was big, spacious and comfy.

The bed was too firm for me (it's a matter of preference, but maybe something in between is better than too soft or too firm).I know the charm is because it's an old castle; however, they need to isolate the windows and doors better. Light and a bit of wind entered the room. Because it's an old castle you can hear when people walk. There was no hand soap in the bathroom.

The place was wonderful in a very convenient location. The stuff was very kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and our suite was spacious,great decorated with a large terrace. Our stay was like living in a fairytale!

Nicely refurbished bedrooms in theme with local history and respect for original building, the shower is an other story, read my remark below here.Free parking.Nice atmosphere in restaurant.

Too many emails received from the hotel (more than 7) before arriving with do's and don't, don't forget this, this all doesn't feel welcoming. Housekeeping staff is simply rude. No smile, no great back, just a unhappy face. The refurbished shower room was just crazy unpractical, if you open the fosset, water flows outside the wash bin, if you take a shower the whole wooden floor gets flooded because of the lack of a shower curtain or glass wall.We asked for a quiet room and we got one at the very busy road. Inside the room it was too warm, opening windows allowed constant 24/7 the traffic noise enter room. Synthetic duvets make it even warmer. Absolutely BAD value for money.I wouldn't recommend it and won't return here.

The Chateau is lovely and the rooms are beautiful. It was perfect for an overnight stay for our stopover. Hotel O’Chateau has their own parking. We booked a nice dinner at their restaurant. Breakfast was really nice too. The staff are very responsive to my inquiry while I was booking. The staff at the Front Desk and Breakfast were very nice too.

Nice looking chateau with garden. Room and bathroom (though latter more aesthetically pleasing than practicality) were very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Food choice was ok but limited. Plenty of on-site parking. Fairly quiet.

The shower was very impractical. TV awkwardly positioned. Location to be considered when booking - close to motorway but semi-view of a massive factory but don’t be put off just because of this.

Breakfast was very good. Location very convenient for onward travel

Bathroom light did not stay on for long enough period.

All was great! 10 points out of 10 on all subjects and criteria!! The dining room is spectacular. Even when we wanted to sit outside, they opened the terrace for us! What a friendly staff and what a nice place!

Cannot think of one tiny thing.

Our contact person was very professional and upon arrival gave us a tour directly and made the best joke ever.

We could smell the kitchen or waste water a bit too much in the bathroom!!

This was a stop on the way that given the reviews we were looking forward to. A castle-like place with a good restaurant sounded perfect. But gee what disappointed we were. Mostly at the restaurant, where instead of having menus open in front of us, we had to pull out our mobile phones to be able to read a QR code. (Yes, the menu and wine list were only there) I don't know about you, but for us it took away the nice feeling of sitting in a fine dining restaurant and staring down at the mobile phones. (And unfortunately the food didn't make up for it either.)

The lack of printed information regarding the hotel and its services, only these (damn) QR codes everywhere. (Why not have a printed summary with reference to more info on QR?)

Comfortable beds, kind hosts/staff, great breakfast.

What a delightful surprise - once we'd turned the corner and took sight of the Chateau. The surrounding town belies the beauty of the facility, and once inside, the staff worked to exceed our expectations. Our dinner was exceptional, and the grounds of the Chateau were beautiful. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would enthusiastically recommend the facility to both families and romantic couples.

Beautiful place, the hotel restaurant was amazing. The staff really takes good care of you. Very friendly and comptent.

The breakfast room was so calm and beautiful. The lady running breakfast so friendly and spoke extremely good English. The buffet was plentiful with anything you would like, hot food requests and coffee by order..... just supreme. The rooms are wonderfully old fashioned with great designing throughout the whole of the Chateau. Someone has very good taste. The food in the restaurant as expected - especially tasty. Matthieu and the other staff were all very friendly and gracious. The bar area is very cosy and the wines sublime.

Hmmm - maybe a bit more lighting in the halls. Was quite dim in places which can be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
