Pros +
- The concierge was wonderful!
- Beautiful hotel! Very large bedrooms with a very comfortable bed. Staff was really helpful and nice, and the breakfast was great. Stayed there to drive to the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento the next morning.
- Value mix for being a short distance from Agrigento was excellent. Favara old town is being reinvigorated and Alba Palace is part of this journey, along with a number is businesses around the square. Cudos to Alba Palace.
Cons -
- Viewing window into bathroom from bedroom
- Favara, like other small towns, is depopulating, and this hotel is working to return life to the heart of the old center. Still, there are many deserted buildings - which means it was quiet and restful, if a bit odd. The hotel is (by car) quite tricky to get to even with the instructions they provided (the map we got at checkin was far better). The roads near the hotel are particularly narrow, so be prepared.
- We arrived in the middle of a heat weave, that day we were at 39 Celsius and the rooms didn’t have the AC on. It took a couple of hours to be comfortable to stay in the room

The hotel is a modern luxury hotel at a level I did not expect. They have a great breakfast buffet and very quiet rooms. The hotel was not busy, it seemed, so we got lots of attention. The bathroom was huge, as was the balcony. It's obvious that a lot of design work went into the place.

The property is beautiful, rooms very spacious. It is secluded and private far from the crowds.

A good alternative to the overpriced hotels in Agrigento, about 20 min. driving distance from the valley of temples. A choice of good restaurants nearby (including the hotel restaurant), very friendly staff and large, modern furnished rooms. Very good value for money.
The surroundings are still developing, so don’t expect much of a sightseeing once you leave piazza Cavour
Breakfast was fine. Room was large and well appointed especially the bathroom. Location close to the main town square.
Main downvotes relate to the ambience in the public areas. Had more of a “café” feel - certainly not a “palace”. There is really no comfortable public space. Everything is brightly lit, with hard surfaces.
New and clean. Excellent bathroom. Decent breakfast.
One side of hotel is nice area, another side - very run down area. Navigation shows route via back very narrow streets - be careful!
Alba Palace is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Favare, Sicily. It's a beautiful mix of modern with ancient touches throughout. My room had a balcony that allowed for magnificent views of the church and down to the square. Breakfast was superb each morning and staff were highly attentive when it came to questions or directions. Arrival - check your email or WhatsApp for a map from the staff. If you're unaccustomed to driving in small Italian towns, it's not for the faint of heart. Streets are narrow and bumpy, but whatever you do: DO NOT HESITATE. Parking....parking the square, it's about 60ft from the front door of the hotel and much easier to navigate.
The hotel is nice, very comfi bed, clean, but a bit cold (industrial atmosfere). The location is TERRIBLE. THE VILAGE IS VERY DIRTY and has 0,00 interest. We got depressed after a long walk in the village trying to find a nice (or even correct) place to have a drink. The place is falling to bits and there is rubish everywere.
Comfortable hotel, perfectly appointed with everything you might need, even an in-house wine-tasting. Staff were polite and very helpful; rooms well appointed with very comfortable bed. A bit difficult to find on first arrival, but the directions provided were perfect. Parking at the hotel is tight, but staff were very helpful. Location, in historical centre of town, was ideal to reach Valley of the Temples and other local attractions. A perfect stay!
Large quiet room with a nice viewComfortable bedFriendly staffExcellent dinner at the restaurant
The hotel offered a nice breakfast and the staff was friendly. The hotel is fairly new and modern. It was located very close to the piazza which offered some good places to eat. This was a good thing since the city itself is not easy to navigate.
It’s rare to find something so modern and stylish in the heart of a medieval town, but this hotel is exactly that—a perfect blend of history and contemporary comfort. From the moment we arrived, the incredibly attentive staff made us feel at home, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Parking was free and conveniently located at the piazza right next to the hotel. The Art Moderne Museum is just a short 4-minute walk away, making it an ideal spot for culture lovers. And for a truly unforgettable dining experience, Stefano’s house, La Locanda di PalmaUliva, is a must-visit—just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality were exceptional, making our stay even more special. If you’re looking for an authentic yet stylish experience in this charming town, this is the place to be!
The hotel was modern within an old exterior. The reception was pleasant. The breakfast at additional price was OK, but limited cerial choice (rice bubbles etc.)
The location in Fravara was a €35 taxi ride both ways to the tourist sites in Agrigento. It added to the already up-market hotel cost plus breakfast cost that others include in the tarrif.
Rooms were comfortable and staff very helpful.
Restaurant lacked ambience and availability of pizzas and simpler food would have been better.Breakfast was average and only a limited range of coffees available
A lovely hotel with very accommodating staff
Initially hard to find or navigate to by car and only a few bars or restaurants nearby on offer within walking distance
HotelStaffClean roomsModern and cosy
Parking can be an issue but hotel staff helps you out.
The property is centrally located and has a beautiful ambiance. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Included breakfast was good also.
Nice hotel. Modern - traditional style building
Very ugly town. Difficult to find.
