Location

Bed was hard, hotel old style. Breakfast no option only cake or tomato toast. Staff were unhelpful young and had love bites showing. Dirty and unkept. Definitely will not be visiting again. Alot of improvements needed.

Location was good, staff were pleasant and helpful, parking outside was no problem.

The hotel needs a lot of care and attention (rusty tap in bathroom e.g.) and is dated. Soundproofing is poor, other rooms running water sounded like Niagara. Breakfast basic, and dinner menu very limited, clearly understaffed, but they did their best.

The rooms were clean and the cleaning staff were very efficient. The night manager was very friendly and helpful and always willing to help, even if there was a language barrier. The beds were hard, but relatively comfortable. The shower was very powerful and really refreshing. The hotel was well located and a short walk from restaurants and supermarkets.

The staff serving breakfast were very rude and disrespectful. One morning I went for breakfast and stood at the bar for around 7-8 minutes, in this time 3 members of staff ignored me, while walking around and serving other guests who had arrived after me. Eventually when I was asked what I would like for breakfast and as I couldn't understand the response, as I don't speak Spanish, the staff member laughed at me, even after attempting to use Google Translate. Eventually I worked out that he was unable to serve me any Orange Juice as they didn't have any left. After I ordered, I waited at my table, as previously we had received table service and I could see that other guests were receiving table service. A few minutes after sitting down, the member of staff shouted at me and placed my breakfast on the bar for me to collect. Although this particular experience was a one-off, on other mornings, I felt the service lacking. The breakfast is also disappointing, it seemed like the only thing available was bread with jam. Also, the air con wasn't working in 2 of the 3 rooms that we booked.

Cocentaina is a very small, quiet place and this hotel is close to the town centre. It's basic but clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was adequate, but secind morning had finished an hour before it should have. Staff were not friendly other than the young lady on reception who i spoke with originally on the phone and checked us in on arrival, she was the best thing about our stay.

Disappointing

Expensive for the location and the facilities. He beds were very old and hard, thin walls, outdated. Not worthy even for 1 night.
