Sol House Mallorca

Matched the description shown on booking.com. No surprises. Ideal, central location right next to the beach. Nice swimming pools, great cocktails. Excellent breakfast. Outside of breakfast, the cheeseburgers are especially good here.

The only issue we had was that housekeeping never came to our room for the first 3 days, and even when we asked the front desk directly, we had to ask 4 or 5 separate times over 2 days before someone actually cleaned our room. I think this was just bad luck though, and probably not representative of normal operations here.

The staff were very helpful and expedient. The breakfast was decent, and the music from the pool was always good, if maybe a bit loud.

Hotel needs renovation, elevators are too small for the number of people, very few sockets in room, sink was plugged when we arrived, they mixed up our room and needed small interventions to get it right, bed mattress was a bit cheap.

The room was good as well the balcony

Description says single room with balcony but got 2 single beds in there. Asked hotel if 2nd person could stay in there and they said no although there were 2 sets of towels and balcony was a narrow window that was over the next rooms balcony so you couldn't leave your window open.

The breakfast was amazing with a good array of options.

The bedroom doors closed poorly, making it look very easy to break in. Also the floors of reception were in very poor condition. The hotel is rated 4 stars, I would give it 2 stars.

Breakfast was very good, lots of variety, room was small and very noisy, no kettle, no coffee nor tea, one the pools wasn't available for use, great location.

The bedroom we got was small, and there was no kettle in the room. Not all the swimming pools were available for use. Also, the hotel looks way smaller than in the photos.

- Good location 2 mins from the beach- Superior Double with Solarium access was really cool- Nice atmosphere around both pools and a DJ there all day playing good music- Big deep pool- most powerful & hottest shower I’ve ever used (shame it flooded the bathroom)- friendly 24h reception desk always happy to book you taxis- good mix of ages: I doubt you’ll feel too young or too old at this hotel - breakfast was pretty good, lovely selection of breads but sadly no hash browns(!) and nasty bacon/sausages. Long wait for the egg station too: basically not very good if a full English is your thing

- Was dated and not the cleanest, lots of cobwebs in our room- grim bathroom, very dated and grimy - coffee cups weren’t replaced in the rooms so couldn’t have a morning tea in bed on nights 2-3- twin beds didn’t link so impossible to turn into a double - woken by screaming in the halls all night long but hey it’s Magaluf

Group of 10 girls celebrating our friends 40th birthday. We were put in 5 rooms in a row in the VIP area. We had a bottle of Cava in each fridge, robes, flipflops and a beach bag were on the bed.We went half board. The food was buffet and catered for all. We were all very impressed.2 of us arrived early at 11:30am and we could get straight into our bedroom.

The bathroom floor was a bit tired but the cleaners came in daily.

I have never written a bad review like this. But please, be warned: - The Hotel is a party hotel. They say "adults only", but with only 18-yo drunk people jumping in the pool and extreme loud music in the whole area, it is worse noise, than if they had kids everywhere. - During the nite, the party people throw doors, scream, knock, go crazy. - During breakfast, you see them in their piyama not even wearing shoes, at the table. The coffee machines were in partial broken when I was there, so would wait in line for coffee forever. - The elevators are extremely slow, and it is nerve-wracking to go up and down stairs, also one elevator was broken and then you wait even longer, they are tiny and people would squeeze in. - Sitting at the buffet for dinner you have to run after the staff to order drinks (without exception). - Every single morning and evening I had to beg and discuss to turn the music a bit down, because the loud bashing house music was so loud, you can´t talk to other people at the table. - They charged my dog 35 EUR a day, even though it was not written on the description on the booking. - No matter what you need from the staff, EVERYTHING is a problem. You will always be forwarded. No Help, No cooperation. I always felt like I am annoying.- House cleaning: Nothing cleaned, even though I paid so much for the dog extra. I had to ask for them to change the sheets and every day we had to ask for toilet paper. On Top: They knock at 9 am in the morning, which is extremely disturbing! - Not even a Taxi could be reserved by the reception for the next morning - I don´t understand why. I have never been more happy to leave a place. I traveled to 44 countries and have seen much.

I am sorry, but I can only advise people to NOT go there, for the above mentioned reason.

Location and pool are on the roof

The food was always cold regardless of what times we had meals, we have stayed in sol house in torremolinos and expected same standard as prices are similar but this hotel was definitely not 4 star.

No refund even though hotel wrote otherwise. DONT BOOK !

My girlfriend and me booked a room in the hotel from 15 - 18th of August 2024. The pictures of the rooms and the hotel looked quite nice. However, when we got there, we checked in, went into the room and were absolutely shocked. The floor was sticky, the bed was disgusting and the windows where so thin, that the music of the pool area could be heard very loudly in the room. Furthermore the room did not smell very good - to say it nicely. But now, the story just begins:We went to the front desk and complained about the issue. Our claim was to get a full refund because we would not be able to stay there even one hour. The friendly lady at the front desk (Elisabeth) was giving the issue to the hotel manager. The hotel manager assured us, that we would get a full refund within one or two work-days. Via booking.com the hotel manager even sent us a cancelation confirmation. However, up to this day, we did not receive or money back. On the 27th of August the hotel sent us another message via booking.com which said that we would receive the refund as soon as possible. However, nothing happened afterwards.Therefore, the only option that we have, is probably to file a complaint with the police and mandate a law firm. Hereby we warn everybody to book with the hotel. DONT Do IT.ps.: To the hotel manager: I am very sorry to make such a post here, but as I have not been refunded, I have to make public what happened. If you refund the money, of course, then I will delete the post. As I said in person: Even if the hotel is not as nice as in the pictures, if a hotel has a good cancelation policy, that it very good. I hope you change your mind, refund the money and everything was just a mistake.

Location, free breakfast, friendly service

There was only one English channel on the TV.

Great location, clean, comfy beds. Loved the solarium pool and bar and the beach club. Good mixture of age groups while we were there. Excellent breakfast.

Some people might find the noise of people coming in 3am onwards annoying....arguments/chats in the corridors...we didn't mind it...got to expect noise in Magaluf

We was not supplied with the room we thought we were arriving to and paid for, (a first floor Junior Suite) ! with a bedroom off the lounge area that you advertise on your website, not a large twin room on the 4th floor, there is a vast difference between the two.?Between Booking.com & the Sol House Hotel, one is taking extra fees through the miss selling of hotel rooms and their availability on arrival.The last thing you need on you first day following a long awaited trip away, is having a row with the hotel manager (Nathan), why you were not being provided the room you think you will be arriving too, as much as he was bing polite to our position to relocate elsewhere, there were no alternatives. ?? Enjoyed a break in a nice hotel, but would seriously think before future trips on booking.com are supplying what your buying

Perfect location, clean and spacious room, friendly staff, nice buffet for breakfast and dinner with variety of food.

The Wi-Fi in the room wasn’t working, only downstairs in the reception/dining area.
