Staff were very accommodating, and welcoming! I loved that it was a small boutique hotel, it felt like a home away from home.. The pool was lovely, the breakfast was great, sea views from the rooms and pool were such a treat- definitely pay the bit extra for a sea view room- it is WELL worth it. the other rooms look out onto a road which isn't quite the same. 5 minute walk to a sandy beach with a beach bar, 10 minute walk to the paddle country club + luxury gym (well worth a visit for a paddle players!) and 10 minute walk from the high street with coffee shops/ supermarkets/ restaurants etc. 7 minute drive from the port with lovely restaurants and luxury shops. The hotel gym is what you'd expect from a hotel; it had a few machines and enough weights for men and women to do a proper work out- also very cool which was great. lovely personable + quiet atmosphere.

I would come here again! A few improvements would be to redo the carpets in the hallways, and extra parasols at the pool.

I really cared for the location and how warmly we were welcomed. The staff was kind, helpful and made the whole experience feel smooth and easy. The beds were especially comfortable, which made a difference. Everything flowed beautifully, and I’d like to thank the entire team for the care and hospitality.

As a small note, it would be nice to have a bit more cheese variety on the breakfast buffet and to clearly mention that omelets are available.

Good location but a little walking involved. Close to beach and bus stop for easy connections around Island.Bed was comfortable, view was fantastic, had a great night's sleep. Had a small problem with noise from a neighbouring room, staff kindly helped immediately.

Walls are very thin. Shower was quite cramped.

Not a great deal

The rooms and bathrooms are absolutely tiny. It’s near nothing, there’s no parking, only 1 person behind the front desk so everything is very slow. Only 1 lift which is two people at a squeeze. I was only there for one night, had it been more than that I’d have had to move hotels. The pictures look far better than it actually is.

Nice staff at reception, gave me a nice room with a view.

Cleaning people are very loud, impossible to sleep during the day in the room, when they are cleaning room nearby or upstairs. Very poor isolation. Also, there were constant repairs noise from construction sight. Not very easy to relax by the pool with constant drilling noise nearby.

Friendly staff, lovely breakfast buffet, good air con, clean rooms, nice views. There was a kettle in the room ...still very unusual on the continent.

The property has no parking. (However, we were lucky enough to find parking space on the street.)

Thin walls, can hear your neighbours and noise from hallways woke me up several times during the stay.

Good location, is away from the main centre but close to restaurants and beaches in the area. Place was clean and comfy. Restaurant was good and pool too.

Idk if it was just the room I was in or people staying next to me but I could hear… EVERYTHINGGGGG which was a bit annoying. Of course can’t knock people for enjoying their holiday but still lol

Small & friendly

Not sufficient space around the pool area. A few rowdy revellers coming back in the early hours!

The staff at Exe are very hardworking, attentive and approachable. We really enjoyed our interactions with them and we did not feel we were a nuisance. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom facilities were fine, although at the time of our stay the water in the shower was too cold. Everything was clean. The sea view from our balcony was beautiful. The breakfast was very tasty, lots of choice for everyone and our favourite part of the breakfast was the local buffet - everything tasted divine.

We purchased our night's stay with full board option. I would not recommend this to anyone. The breakfast was perfect and there was lots to choose from, so go for breakfast only option. The full board option at lunch and dinner does not offer a buffet. You have to chose from a very limited menu and the portions are rather small. On the first date we ate dinner only and on the next day we had breakfast and lunch.The tuna pizza that my husband had for lunch looked like the one you would bake from frozen - looked very cheap. The tuna pasta salad I had did not have much tuna in it. The chicken schntizel that I had for lunch, was still raw on the thicker edges. I have taken a photograph just in case. The ice cream at dinner tasted very strange and we both did not finish it. The chicken salad dinner was too small, although the fried chicken at dinner was very well seasoned and tasty. The hotel also does not offer a glass of wine or beer with lunch or dinner which was disappointing to hear.

The views and pool were excellent. The food at breakfast was a good range of different things to try and was delicious. The beds were comfortable and staff were lovely.

The rooms weren’t very soundproofed so sometimes you could hear other people in the corridors and in their rooms.

Location was good in a peaceful neighbourhood, beautiful big room which was immaculately clean and had a lovely fresh smell, sea view was wonderful and the bathroom products were of good quality. Pool area was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent and staff were all very pleasant and welcoming.

Great location, on a steep hill but found it fine. Bus stop to Palma a 5 min walk away and only takes 25 mins on the bus. Food for breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice and staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Deluxe room had loads of space and excellent beds. Nice pool view too!

Website states adult only but there were at least 3 babies and children. One running up and down the corridor at 8am squealing. Also groups of ladies coming back at 5am knowing on friends rooms doors drunk and talking loudly
