Sometimes the entrance of hotel can be slippery and driver can’t park next to the entrance however the hotel staff and location were very good ?☺️

Location

Disappointment with the service and facilities during my recent stay at this hotel. Despite repeated requests, the bathroom exhaust fan remained non‑functional, significantly affecting the comfort of our stay. Additionally, the overall room maintenance was below standard, and the staff’s attitude was unfriendly and unhelpful. Upon checkout, the bell staff did not assist with our luggage to our vehicle, further diminishing the overall experience.

The hotel is the one at the back beyond the ski rental. There was no dedicated parking except park where there's space in front of the hotel but that was not very far. The front desk was very helpful. The swimming pool is indoors but not as heated as I liked it to be. Took good 5 mins to adapt to it. The buffet breakfast is decent. The menu for other meals in accessible via QR code and that helped us take our time in choosing what we wanted.

room was smelling of unventilated toilet so we had to open the door to let it breathe. Always made sure to put the toilet cover down and close the toilet door. We checked out at 12 noon so they had no bell boy at the time as check in begins at 2pmthe road access is crumbling and pothole ridden.The pool was not as warm as I would've liked, but was usable and I swam for good 30 mins.

Perfectly located with spotless rooms, tasty breakfast, and a warm, welcoming staff. The service is top-notch, the ambiance is cozy, and every detail is thoughtfully managed. A truly pleasant and hassle-free stay.

It is a very nice hotel with very kind staff. I liked that it’s next to the ski slope, has a grate lobby-lounge and free spa to relax.

I stayed at Carpe Diem Hotel in Gudauri at the beginning of March with my spouse, and it was a truly memorable experience. The location is perfect — right on the slopes — making it extremely convenient for skiing and enjoying the snow without needing to travel far.The rooms were warm, cozy, and clean, with beautiful mountain views that made waking up every morning a treat. The staff was friendly, responsive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.One of the highlights of our trip was the indoor pool and sauna — after a day out in the cold, relaxing there was absolutely amazing and added a touch of luxury to the experience.The hotel also has a nice après-ski atmosphere in the evenings, with live music or DJs in the lounge area, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was good, with a mix of local and international options.Overall, Carpe Diem is a great choice if you're visiting Gudauri — whether it's for skiing or just a relaxing winter holiday. Great location, great vibes, and a great stay!

Horrible staff and smelly rooms, they should learn more on hospitality. We requested for cutlery and were refused. I tried to escalate to reception and hotel general manager and became a rascism victim. Looks like the hotel is run by a bunch of russian/georgian mafia group!!!To my horror I had to escalate to Georgian authorities and waiting now for justice!Dear Indians, Please stay away!!

The hotel is tired & needs some refurbishment. Our room had numerous issues the main one being noisy heating that would keep you awake at night & even after maintenance tried to resolve the problem it was never fixed. The toilet had to be propped up on a number of tiles as it had not been fixed to the wall correctly. The walls were damaged in the bathroom & dirty in the lounge area. The chef could only prepare one dish at a time during dinner service which meant that as a family most nights we had to eat our meals separately on a couple of occasions 5 of us had finished our meals before the 6th member of the group got their food. Waiting staff were friendly but could be seen vaping behind the bar when they had little to do. The pool was cold & if you wanted to use the sauna you had to ask for it to be turned on. Boot/ski room is insecure & not big enough.

Nice hotel, but nothing exceptional. The photos really make it seem better than it actually is, but the pool is useable. Paid for the nicer room with balcony, only to end up with a small room where we could barely open the balcony door to face the car park.

Room had a strong sewage smell. We advised reception, and their only solution was to spray our room with toilet spray. It goes without saying, this didn't work and the smell returned. We asked to change rooms, but the staff just said no. Hotel is run down, and feels like it hasn't been maintained in the past 10 years. Facilities were terrible, with rubbish and wet towels everywhere. Majority of staff were rude and seemed very unhappy. We requested to cancel our 2nd night so we could stay somewhere else, but no refund was offered. Booking.com and hotels need to improve in similar circumstances where the hotel and staff are this bad.

Overall, it's been a good experience, there have just been several niggles. Some people take milk in tea/coffee but no milk was provided in the room. The pool was not warm enough, the poolside loungers needed mattresses, without them they were extremely uncomfortable and the sauna wasn't turned on unless you requested it. The spa should meet expectations when guests come in off the slopes. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the menu extensive, but not everything advertised was available. We were a party of 6 and the ordered meals never came out together: adults generally don't mind waiting, but hungry children can get fractious making the dining experience uncomfortable. Breakfast was extremely good. Staff in all departments were all extremely helpful, polite and friendly. I would like to suggest that there is a bedside lamp at both sides of the bed and the mattresses could have been thicker and more comfortable. There were no instructions on how to use the safe. The hotel is very clean, warm and welcoming. Despite my many criticisms, intended only to help, I would happily return to stay there again.

1)The hotel is quite old. You can’t even properly close the door when using the “Do Not Disturb” sign, and the doors still use traditional keys instead of cards. 2)The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the location isn’t great either.3)If you walk about 20 minutes, you’ll find much better areas with plenty of restaurants ,for example, restaurant&bar “Drunk Cherry” was amazing. I highly recommend looking for a hotel in that area instead. You’ll likely find a better one for even less money.4) The soundproofing in the rooms is practically nonexistent , you can hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms.

1. We ordered room service the evening and it never arrived.2. Television did not work.3. The mattress was extremely thin!4. Telephone was not working properly.

Location was superb, right next to the chair lift. The family suite was excellent. Spacious for 4 and lots of storage. Lovely restaurant and breakfast.

The sauna and oool were great the first day, but the sauna wasn’t switched on the days after. Was great to use after a day of snow boarding.
