Northgate Hotel Kazbegi

The view from the lounge is exceptional and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is only a few steps from the downtown and the bus station.

Excellent small / medium size hotel, lovely, caring and sweetest owners (the couple), neat and clean rooms, beautiful lounge to hang around (I can spend whole day sitting there enjoying coffee / views as it offers so much relaxation), best breakfast we ever had thanks to the nicest lady who cooked everything herself, lovely breathtaking views.

Staff are super nice and helpful - they really want you to enjoy your stay. The hotel is like a warm winter home - rooms are great, the lounge is beautiful and roomy. The breakfast is FANTASTIC - a variety of Georgian and European-style food. Easy parking for the car. The lounge and rooms have a fantastic view of Mt. Kazbek and the mountain cathedral.

Good curtains but don't block 100% of the light in the morning.

Nice and clean, good staff, They can’t speak much English but still manage to communicate. Breakfast is good and lots of vegetarian options and some unique preparation

Pillows were not comfortable

The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful even though we had to communicate by Google translate. But it was not a problem. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.Breakfast was very good, with multiple choices.

Great property location (we didn’t have a vehicle). We did the local hikes from the hotel - perfect if you love to walk. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options for vegetarians. Easy walks to nice restaurants. The couple working there were very nice. The area is beautiful!

The shower would make the whole bathroom floor wet.

Nice family-run hotel, spacious and clean bedrooms with comfortable bathrooms. The common area for guests is very cosy. Great breakfast too.

This is my second time staying at NorthGate, rooms are comfy and clean with a lovely view of Gergeti Trinity church and mountains, breakfast is exceptional and staff are nice. They also have a common area where you can chill with your friends or family or play board games. These were my reasons for coming back at this place. Supermarkets are 10 minutes walking distance and a town center minibus stop is 5 minutes away. Restaurants are also pretty close by.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed. The rooms and the common area were exceptionally clean and had such a cozy and warm ambiance. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, and the view was absolutely stunning. The owners were incredibly friendly, helpful, and nice. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We liked each and every aspect of hotel. We had an amazing stay. very friendly and kind managing people they are. they really helped us to know the place and helped with the things. very much neat and clean the room and washroom is.breakfast too were literally amazing.

We loved the breakfast that was served fresh with a nice range of dishes. Also it’s all homemade and delicious. The owners are lovely and caring. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. The common room and the dining areas are comfortable and cosy.

Everything about the hotel was exceptional—the friendly and caring staff, comfortable rooms and beds, delicious food and breakfast, and the stunning terrace with the best view of the city.

The only downside was the leaking bidet shower in the bathroom, which couldn’t be fixed during our two-day stay, along with a leaking sink tap.

The view was splendid in the backdrop of mountains. The owners also were sweet and the facilities in the hotel were also very good. It was a pleasant and comfortable stay even when it was snow outside

Late unexpected booking in the hotel was greeted very friendly by the owners . Beautiful Mountain View’s all throughout the hotel but the best for us was the homemade breakfast by the owners definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit .

The location was absolutely breathtaking—it truly felt like we were nestled in the heart of the mountains. The breakfast was a standout highlight, evoking fond memories of my childhood with my grandmother. Every bite was infused with care and love, making it an unforgettable experience.

Road around the hotel and no lift in the building and we need to lift our luggage by ourselves. imagine if aged personnel is the guest

Coffee was fine, staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable enough.

We were not told by the hotel that its street is completely destroyed as you cannot access it by car.
