Very nice and helpful staff. The manager was great. Good breakfast. Rooms are very basic but the breakfast room is available at any time if need place to relax. Views of mountains from guest room and breakfast area are awesome.

I dont normally write reviews unless I am really impressed by a hotel, and this is one. This quaint small hotel is a ray of Sunshine in Kazbegi. Great staff, especially Sofia who gave us a lot of travel tips. Amazing breakfast which we could not finish, so many choices. The views from the breakfast patio of the Gergeti Trinity monastery are not to be missed, especially at sunrise.Bathrooms are adequate and the water is piping hot. The hot-rack in the bathroom keeps the bathroom toasty and dry and you can dial it down to your preference.The rooms are cosy enough for a couple, clean and and well heated for those cold Kazbegi winter nights. The bed linen is pure cotton and very comfortable. There is a mini-fridge in the room.Like most hotels in the area, the floors are wooden so bring earplugs if you are bothered by the occasional creaking or tread of footsteps on wooden floors. It didn't affect me in the least and we generally slept well. The hotel is about a 12-15 minute walk from the downtown area, which is great, and some decent restaurants are within an 8-10 minute walk. The common kitchen (clean and hygenic) offers a microwave and a cooking range with all kitchenware if you chose to bring you own food or prepare your own.Unlimited tea and coffee provided in the breakfast lounge.All in all, a great little hotel for a short trip (I came for 2 days, ended up staying 5), and the best value for money, in my opinion.

An individual kettle option in the room is missing, which would have been great to have. However there is a fully equipped coffee/tea station in the breakfast lounge.

Was perfect for our one night stay in Kazbegi. The room was clean and comfortable, with all amenities described. We used the communal kitchen to heat up our meals. And enjoyed the great view in the morning. The place had a nice homey vibe (eg. games in the dining room), as well as modern bedrooms and facilities.

The room wasn't soundproof so you could hear the people from the upstairs room walking around. Water was leaking from the shower.

The sound isolation is an issue. The cracking of floor can be obviously heard still not that annoying :)

Can’t walk till the hotel from the bus stop with luggage’s due to the steep nature of the roads. Can use a taxi but apart from that no complains at all.

- Hotel is located at the elevation and the view from the room balcony was breathe taking! (Mount Kazbeg and Trinity church). The view cannot get any better as it is spectacular and unobstructed (10/10).- Reception staff was polite, courteous, helpful, approachable and professional. - Beds were comfortable, room and washroom were huge and lighting was perfect.- A sharing kitchen and bar is available where you can cook food, have complimentary tea/coffee 24/7 during your entire stay. A mini fridge is available in the room.- Hi-Speed Wi-Fi connection was available which is perfect for those who work remotely. - Car parking space is available right outside the property. - Restaurants and Kazbegi town is at a walking distance of 5-7 minutes.

There is no daily housekeeping facility even though it is mentioned in booking.com website and "Clean My Room" tag was hung outside the door. However, the reception staff stated that she can offer extra towels whenever we need them.

The isolation between the floors was good but not perfect. Some noises of walking on the upper floor were noticed in our room in the lower floor. Not too disturbing unless you are very sensitive and sleep very light.

unfortunately I didnt like that place as I think Ill do. Place is oke but, BUT noise isolation is so bad that made me nervous. I heard literally everything from others room, kitchen, hall.. In the morning I smell everything what was prepared in kitchen, wooden steps was so loud. I wanted nice calm resting place but I didt get it here :( shower head is broken

Sunshine Kazbegi is a great place to stay. Super clean, with wonderful stuff. You can drink coffee and tea anytime for free. They have amazing views and cute terrace ❤️❤️❤️

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.The location is convenient, with street parking available.Breakfast is very good.

The bed could be more comfortable.The soundproofing between rooms is poor, as we could hear every step from the room above.Around 9:30 pm, there were people cooking, and the smell permeated the hallway and even entered our room, making it difficult to relax.

Opening the window and seeing this beautiful landscape is simply amazing. The bed is huge and comfortable. We also enjoyed the common terrace

we had one night with the kazbegh mountain view and a terrace which was great but the room wasn't available for the second night and we moved to the other side of the hotel with a room without a terrace. it was hot and there was not air conditioning or fan available. it was hot for us. might be helpful to have some portable fans on hand for hot nights:).

The breakfast was great and the view was exceptional from the terrace. They kindly allowed us to use the washing machine. Friendly staff working there.

The hotel building feels cheap. The walls are paper thin and there's no sound insulation so, honestly if you are a light sleeper I cannot recommend this place for a restful night.
