It's a lovely, lovely old school hotel full of charme and super friendly hosts. They are so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Food and drink are of organic quality and sustainability is taken seriously too.

The ambiance was lovely, breakfast presented superbly, nice bit of chill out jazz to accompany you.We booked very last minute and got a balcony overlooking the Rhine.Reasonably priced and not at all what you'd expect from the outside.Private parking round the back

Nothing. The balcony and frontage could do with a refresh but I'm sure that's in the offing.Don't let that put you off. Take a look at the interior photo's.

The hotel was exceptionally vintage and beautiful!! the owners were so nice and wonderful! Located in a very nice area close to everything!!Plan to go back next year and stay for a few days.LITERALLY, we LOVED this place!! Everything was perfect and high end amenities!! Thank you!!

Old style hotel full of character.The room and renovated bathroom were very clean and comfortable.The hosts and staff were super friendly and helpful.Would definitely recommend!

Our room wasn't situated on the street / river side, so the view wasn't great, however.. this did mean we could sleep with the windows open without being bothered by any kind of noise. :)

Breakfast and location was excellent, right next to the river. We had a room with river views and we really enjoyed it. The owners were very friendly and helpful by recommending a great restaurant for dinner.

Squeaky wooden floor covered with carpet (it seems to have lots of defects hidden under the carpet).If you do not have a car, there is not much to do in surrounding area.

Great place to stop while driving up the Rhine. Classic decor took you back in time. They gave us a very good dinner recommendation, only a 20 min walk away which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Not much open for dinner near by, Fortunately, we could walk to a wonderful restaurant.

Have stayed before and the location is great. New owners since and is now very quirky. Amazing photographs of their family.

Unfortunately on the night of our stay, the restaurant was closed. (Sunday). Bit of a walk to another restaurant.

We stayed here 1 night on our way to Switzerland. We loved the hotel. The decor is cosy and warm, the room was beautiful with a great view. Good bed, great shower. Lovely staff. Highly recommended!

The location is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful tried their best to make our stay pleasent. They breakfast was exceptional: All organic. Freshly baked bread rolls, plenty of cold cuts.

A proper restaurant serving dinner would have made this even better. They seem in the process of getting this set up. The recommendation of another restaurant was good but we'd have preferred not having to drive.

Really quirky, cosy place that was something a little different from the usual. The hotel looks a little oldy-worldly as you enter but the rooms are recently renovated and very clean and comfortable. The bed was lovely and soft and we had a great night’s sleep, waking up to a gorgeous view of the Rhein. The breakfast was something a little bit special too, with fancy crockery and plenty of food!

The road to the car park was quite tight, but luckily there was plenty of free space during our stay. The shower also drained poorly, but it wasn’t a huge problem.

Fantastic family-run hotel. The interior is in 1920s style, all furnished with renovated vintage furniture. Entering the hotel is like in Midnight In Paris, except it's still there when you wake up in the morning. The breakfast is amazing, everything is fresh, organic and healthy. If you are vegan or vegetarian, let the staff know beforehand and they will make sure you have alternatives. We forgot to do so, but they still managed to provide a great breakfast with fresh fruit and home-baked bread. The hotel was renovated just a few years ago, but some of the other guests were already regulars that return each year, always a good sign. Staff is charming, friendly and helpful. Having a drink in the plush vintage chairs of the lounge is a lovely way to end each evening. Parking on the street right outside, but if it's all full the hotel have a few spots behind the building. Recommended for exploring the "Romantischen Rhein". We will be sure to return.
