It was a very good experience the staff was friendly and helpful, Room clean and here was everything that you need to comfort stayThe breakfast was different and tasty, the spa is gorgeous, I hope retune to this place !

Would not visit again

Severely over priced, it was an outdated hotel. The reception chose to not mention the parking in front of the hotel although we specifically enquired about parking.

The spa was amazing! The front desk staff was excellent - went above & beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay!

The hotel seemed empty. The hotel cleaning staff for the room did the bare minimum. It would have been nice to have the bathroom toiletries & towels refreshed daily.

European grandeur and beautiful location. Spa was amazing as was breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good cafe and restaurant options at the hotel and nearby.

No air conditioning in rooms. Decor was dated and our "mountain view" room consisted of a view of a cliff, since the hotel is basically built into the "mountain", so someone had got creative with the descriptions there.

Big room, nice swimming pool during hot summer days, breakfast was good.

Fridge was not plugged in, so we tried to plug it in ourselves: we noticed it was placed in a closet with no electricity connection in the wall. Hotel staff however had it filled with some drinks but apparently never checks if the fridge works. Hotelcleaning did not clean our rooms twice although we used the door sign to call attention to hotel staff. We had dinner and ordered italian tagliatelle but instead got chinese noodles (bami). At the hotel bar we ordered a cocktail from the bar menu card. The bartender said we could not order it due to personnel issues and we would have to come back tomorrow (we were at that time the only guests in the bar). All things considered this was a very bad experience: a pretentiuous too expensive hotel with in practice very low quality standards.

Excellent experience, the hotel offers everything for a great holidays: top location, clean and comfortable room, good restaurant, amazing spa, and convenient on-site parking.

Onsite wellness spa was simply phenomenal. The herbal steam room had to be our favorite and the ice grotto was cool. Our room was beyond expectations. The blackout curtains worked perfectly since German summers have extended daylight. The included breakfast & wait staff were amazing! Five stars ⭐️ hotel at a four star ⭐️ price.

We didn’t know that you had to make reservations for dinner in the hotel restaurant 24 hours out. Some literature on the wellness spa would have been nice as well.

The hotel and location are beautiful. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices.

The hotel has a bit of a sense of past 'glory'. The rooms are dated. Staff, while nice, is sparse and you need to actively seek out help. The pillows were horribly soft. If the price had been lower we would have been very happy, but for what we paid we expected a little more.

This is a beautiful, elegant, classic hotel. Staff were attentive & helpful. Bedroom quiet with a lovely view of the river. Breakfast good. Hired bike from reception to cycle to Koblenz - good bikes and only €10 Euro for half a day. Thermal pool facilities lovely (swimwear required). Sauna area excellent (textile free - nude). Parking in front of hotel €15 or park at the back for €5.

The reception staff requires better training. A word of warning- don’t leave the room key at the reception if you plan to come back after 10 pm. We were lucky the bar was still open. And the barmen was not particularly happy about having to leave his post to help us.

Nice location. Good sauna and pool facilities. Staff were nice and friendly.

Room wasn't the nicest, bit run down and small for the price I paid. Massage I paid for through their partner business was quite expensive and very unremarkable. Massage was only for 30 mins (usually 60 mins from previous experience) and wasn't much of a massage, more just rubbing of the neck and shoulders and that's it.

Great location, spa areas are well kept and clean, great choice at breakfast, I had a nice view of the Lahn from my balcony. So very nice restaurants near by as menu in the hotel is very limited, room was very clean

Parking was chaotic at the front of the hotel, on my first night it was a city festival event so hotel was very noisy even after the event all I could hear was staff dragging furniture across the floor untill 2am.Slow service at the bar

Location and breakfast excellent. Nice view from room windows. Hotel Bar is quite original and a bit retro, but was closed in the evening.

Musty smell in bathroom. Windows small (room 401), therefore room kind of dark in day time. Room design: fake luxury (fake wood furniture, akin to not-so-rich "nouveau riches" trying to show off their pseudo wealth). Shower head: half clogged. Door stopper on the middle of the floor. Room service storming into room 1 h before check-out time. Bar was closed.

Overall nice historic style, convinient location and staff member are trying to help and finding a solution, also for people with handicaps. Also trying and supporting vegan breakfast

First room did smell like a toilet, but there was no problem to change the room, so in general not a negative point, but something that stays with you. In the final invoice, additional bed has been charged despite having entered everything clearing via Booking.com. Parking of thd hotel is not convinient
