    Pros +

    • Super Hotel is my favorite now. Excellent breakfast, hot springs, free alcohol…it’s amazing. Clerk even gave me a towel to wipe my bike.
    • Breakfast was adequate, location likewise okay. Staff tried but couldn't refund our paid reservation because it was "done by booking" and we had to talk to them.
    • The staff were personable. The hotel offers a Welcome drink (alcohol) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The breakfast was a good range of both Japanese and Western food.

    Cons -

    • Only one elevator and no stairs but almost all hotels are the same.
    • Shortly after arriving at the hotel with our luggage we were brought to the room and went in. Upon trying to get out of the room we noted that the door was locked and we could not get out. There was no phone in the room (and we did not have access to a phone) and no way to reach anyone in the hotel. We tried shouting through the windows, slipping a note under the door (this could not be done). The hotel does not provide an e-mail address. The room was well soundproofed the door was metal or steel and the lock was a combination lock with no keyboard on the inside. With no way to get out we emailed booking.com and were looking for email numbers for the police when a passing guest hear our banging and cries for help. They got the staff to open the door. The explanation they gave us was a "loose lock" and they said that they would "tell the purveyor". They eventually offered us a connecting set of rooms with two doors ('just in case one of them has a problem"). We did not want to accept this but with no other reservations and as it was getting dark we did. No refund was offered and they told us to take any complaints to booking.com as they could not process a refund unless booking.com requested it. So here it is. We are both experienced travelers (million-milers plus) and have never experienced being locked INTO a room (certainly a fire and earthquake hazard). This was a real problem. By the way, we have had no response from our attempt to reach the hotel through booking.com. Not even apology for our inconvenience. We would appreciate a refund and response from booking.com. We await.
    • The room was small… basically a bed with just enough room to shuffle between it and the counter. If you have a big suitcase, you will find it will take up the limited space you have. The toilet/showed/bath is just big enough to turn around in.

Room was very clean and the staff were all very friendly, even though I didn't speak Japanese.

Some may love the choice to pick your pillow, but the selections seemed to be inferior to other hotels that provide feather pillows. The room was tiny, with no room for a luggage rack, so I had to use the desk.

Digital, Hassle free. Breakfast simple but good. Good TV channels

A bit far from station. 10min walk.

    8GavinPosted on: 1-30-2025

The service of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Although small, surprised it had a small public onsen bath.

The toilet seat is small for a normal size adult to use, just barely fitting the butt. Considering the value, it is expected the toilet is also small but not the toilet seat.

car park is not enough and room is pretty small

    10JuPosted on: 9-11-2024

Extremely convenient, bus stop to hospital immediately outside, polite staff, great amenities and lovely onsen

    9SamPosted on: 8-20-2024

Easy to find. Great breakfast. Comfortable room. In house onsen.

Would rather have a key card instead of paper to memorize.

    6NhatPosted on: 7-28-2024

    Large bedOnsen included in hotel

Breakfast too bad. Not so many dishes. Barely eat anything.

    7AureliaPosted on: 6-23-2024

The was conveniently located near attractions - just a short walk of 10-15 mins away. The room was clean, and the staff was generally okay. A decent place for exploring the area.

    Cleanness and great staff members

little too far from kawagoe station

    9KennethPosted on: 6-7-2024

Free WiFi- Non-mix public bath- Lift to roomRemarks: we stay at level 2, the only room in that level and same level with public bath and Coin laundry. Very convenient!- Coin laundry is cheap at JPY 200 per wash while dryer is free to use!- Uss of passcode is convenient. Don't need to worry about misplacement of room key or access card.- Breakfast starts early at 6:30 and with good variety for the price.- Cleanliness- Free but limited parking- Walking distance to train station, Donki and many eateries.

    Nothing really.

    8JeffreyPosted on: 4-10-2024

The rooms are small but very clean. The breakfast is also plentiful! I was glad that the parking was free in front of the hotel, but it can fill up, so would definitely get there as early as possible if going by car. The onsen was small but clean.

    9AnusornPosted on: 4-8-2024

Hotel staff is very friendly with warm welcome. Hotel location is very good in walking distance to JR station and travel spots.Japanese breakfast was ver pleasant, many options and very good taste.

Connecting rooms are a bot tight, need to do special arrangement to place 3 28” luggages.

    9Tai P.Posted on: 3-31-2024

Is near to Hon-kawagoe station, is like 300m, JR station is slightly far, around 800m. Good location, close to Saitama old town. A lot nice Japanese snack you can get it there. Love the public shower in the hotel, the onsen is good. Breakfast is very good too.

Bed can be more comfortable, check out time is 10am, it will be good if is 11am.

    8NoahPosted on: 3-27-2024

The building is close to a station, as well as very clean and offers a nice breakfast as well as a hot bath with good facilities. The room has a nice bathroom and a good tv, although maybe larger than it needs to be.

There's almost nothing I don't like besides the fact that this hotel uses a code system to enter rooms rather than a keycard or something physical. In addition, the pillow was very, very solid, too much for me.

    9Liv T.Posted on: 1-14-2024

Good value with nice breakfast included. I also selected this property for the onsen public bath.

    Room size small

    6VictorPosted on: 12-31-2023

    Breakfast was good.

Plastic bottle was found buried under the mattress and bed after trying to find the cause of an uncomfortable bulge in the side of the bed.
