Altstadthotel Schex

10 ++++ / AAA+++ stay. Great location. parking directly out front. Elevator. Walk to all sites. Nice and clean big room. Quiet central location. Great breakfast.Great hot water.

Nice clean rooms, great location

No crew at all, a paper at the dark reception indicates a phone number to call for let us know how to open the outside key door to get our room keys. We had to leave before breakfast time - 7 am - and had no chance to get a packed breakfast, though the price included breakfast.G

Can't say.

I arrived, nobody was at the reception, could not get anybody on the phone and received a message that my reservation was considered cancelled. Had to go and find another hotel for a much higher price.

i was not told it was a telephone check in!!! i did not have a charged mobile and had to ask another guest to call for me. I was trapped outside. !!! for 20 mins. You should tell guests in advance if there will be no one at the hotel when they arrive.

Disappointing

Recently I had lots of booking orders by this APP incl. car rental, hotel reservation, flight tickets booking. Sometimes make me convenient, but last week when we try to book the hotel , due to the wrong location of city names are similar in Chinese, after ordered, we found that immediately nearly in 5 min. then we try to cancel and book again for the right, and we have sent the e-mail to clarify this situation and wish to get the expense refund, but so far no reaction on that. which make me spend double living expense for one night. If Booking company like this kind of business concept, I will give up Booking.no feedback so far

We used this hotel a a stopover on our way from Budapest to the black forest in Germany. Great place just a stone throw away from the main square with several restaurants. Very good value for money. The hotel has a big parking lot behind the hotel so no worries to park your car. Nice decent breakfast. Definitely a place I would recommend.

Breakfast was awesome!!! Very quiet. Location 2mins walk from thecathedral.

Heater is not enough to keep the room warm... we booked for 3 person in a room was expectjng that its going to be 1 double and 1 single.. turned out the extra bed is the sofa itself.Check in time is fixec at 5pm which is late compared to other hotels. Not possible to keep luggage when you check our even for a few hours since there is no staff duringthe day after 10-11am ( check out time)

The location and the room.
