Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center

Beautifully designed, conveniently located. The breakfast was a highlight. We loved the access to the town center as well as the waterfront. Great shopping and dining options.

The bar¿s outdoors beneath the hotel. The sound carries and kept us up much of the night. The room had a burned out light bulb and the air conditioning unit did not work. The day was warm and the heat in the top floor room was really uncomfortable.

Friendly and responsive staff, accommodative approach for use of common amenities such as Refrigerator.

Frequent interruptions in Wi-Fi and improper Room cleaning service

The room was comfortable, clean and, so, great enough to sleep in. The staff who attended me were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. If you are looking for a place to stay, then is this hotel an excellent option.

An overall clean and quite spacious and cozy room. The hot water and heating work very well. The restaurant is also cozy and convenient (although no real vegetarian option) and the staff is pleasant and allows you to take your tray up to your room. I also appreciated the hand-written welcome message that I found in the room on my arrival, along with the small token representing the region.

I did not like that you cannot check in without your passport (ID). This is not at all specified at the time of the reservation. The staff was understanding, but I think that the payment and reservation confirmation through your booking app (on your phone or via email) should be enough proof of identification.The room is cozy but not properly lit for people who are there for work. Also, a few things have to be repaired, such as the bathroom sliding door, which slides wide open when you try to shut it, and the peephole cover that doesn’t cover. The electric kettle needs to be cleaned as well, as under the bed (loads of dust mites).There is absolutely no free parking space, in or around the area. But there's an underground parking with direct access to the hotel, for a little over 12 euros per night. (I don't know how much it costs to park there during the day.)

It was very good for the price. The room was nice and modern with most amenities you need.

The elevator was broken and very slow.

They didn’t a proper room for three guests with three beds. And they didn’t clean the room they didn’t renew the bed shits coffee and water

Parking lot hard to find

The location is great with the lake nearby and friendly staff.

The room space is quite small. No fridge in the room. If you like balcony and big windows, this might not be your good choice.

There was no A/C, floor was dirty in the room. Hotel restaurant took forever to serve us.

Friendly stuff especially Shanna and Myrthe they were really nice and helpful, good location, good value, comfortable rooms.

Room was good and comfy. Breakfast was average.

Breakfast was not as good in other Leonardo hotels.

This is the 4th time we stay over at this hotel, we find the location very convenient - right in the center. Two out of these four times, we had special service as "guests of the day", one including free beverage at the downstairs bar, and one including free breakfast for both of us for the next morning. Receptionists are very kind and the room is always nice and clean. Complemetary fruit and infused water at the lobby as well. Overall we quite enjoy the hotel and definitely recommend.

We always book the deluxe room, with a king size bed. The only thing is that the comforter tends to sink quite a bit in the middle so it is not the most comfortable. We've gotten used to it and we sleep well now.

The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful.The room was very spacious and clean.Mini fridge in room was useful.

Noisy Aircon (see all previous comments!)TV did not have several of the cable channels working, including BBC.I was in room 128 on 1st floor. There were noises from the restaurant below until it closed. This was ok as 11pm Mon-Thurs but please bear in mind 1am close Fri and sat.It was a good 10 mins walk to the other bars and restaurants, and almost 20 mins to the station.

The breakfast did not have many varieties, and the lights in the room were not bright enough.

Easy access from Almere train station. Friendly staff, spacious room, most amenities included, restaurant connected to hotel, plenty of shops and food options around.

Excellent Breakfast. The location was in a quiet and modern neiborghood. The sunsets were especially beautiful to photograph from the window. And "Bierfabriek" is amazing! Very nice Staff and the chicken, delicious!.

Beautiful location, food for breakfast and in the bar at evening were good.

I knew cleaning was less frequent but to clean and replenish the room the day before leaving is not well planned. Also the two mattress pushed you to the middle dip.
