Holiday Inn Express Almere By IHG

Location was in the middle of the shops. Train and bus station 2 min. Walk. Parking garage also 2 min walk.parking is 3 euro per 24 hrs. Which is quite cheap. Breakfast was good and had varieties of food and drinks.

Shower cabinet had no curtain/door wetting the floor during showering in the bedroom.

The room wasn't spacious enough for a toddler.

It’s been probably more than two years now since the last time I was here. Everything pretty much the same as I remember. The beds are really comfortable same as the pillows.. you’ll get the best sleep as you can possibly get. Staff are less visible than it was a couple years ago but they are still the same extremely helpful and kind. Much love to y’all and big thank for everything and see you in the near future.

The kindness of the personnel was exceptional. The room looks much better than other hotels which are pricier. Everything is neat and clean and looking newish.You can stream any device you have following the instructions on the tv, it works great! The ac also works very good.

There was just one of the two towels which had old stains on it. It wasn't dirty, it were stains which clearly couldn't get washed out. A quality check could avoid these getting used.

Great spot for a stopover - 24 hour checkin - parking 100metres down the road (secure enough) - soundproof rooms so no traffic noise - bar

I have paid in cash at the hotel and today they have charged my card for 100€!I want you to refund my money ASAP!

Hotel rooms were small but well laid out. Comfortable and clean.

Lots of young men hanging around at entrances, stairs and corridors. I suspect they were immigrants being housed in the hotel. Felt very uneasy with people hanging around like that.

Great rooms with good comfortable beds, sockets by the beds is great, good WiFi, good shower with strong pressure and good temperature. Hotel close to train station, restaurants and secure parking at a very cheap price for overnight only 2 euro.Friendly and helpful staff Everything I look for in a hotel is provided here and I travel a lot it is rare to find a hotel that meets everything I like and i only have a simple checklist.

Breakfast was ok but only continental not much hot options like bacon, beans etc.Dinner menu was ok but it was very obvious that the pasta was heated in microwave or oven yet still cost 18 euro. Took about 5 minutes from ordering to getting the pasta so no way it was fresh made in that time.

My daughter is coeliac and couldn’t eat no breakfast which was included in the price , also not happy that I paid more for my stay when I got there than what was on my booking app

The staff I dealt with was nice.

When I asked for room cleaning, I was not informed that there were 2 different types of cleaning if I wanted a change of bed linen.

The locarion

No mini fridge, no space for family (not even for three) though it was advised...very small rooms...only enough for one person..I asked for some glasses with ice cubes and one male staff member was very fuzzy...interacted with me like he was the owner and like the glasses were gold or diamond ...and he insisted I should return them asap.. on the note only one front office girl who was really friendly (Isla I assume here name was) and a there was a Dutch born Iraki security office who was very friendly...

I liked the location, the rooms and the lobby.

Breakfast was not much choice. Also we stayed two nights, upon the second day our room should have been cleaned we were gone all morning and afternoon and came back at 4 pm and still our room wasn't cleaned. this was very disappointing, the cleaner ended up just changing our towels.

Very bad hotel in the area

They gave us the wrong room, Front desk have no experience and don't want to help the guest.

The location was convenient next to the train station and very cheap parking if you have a car. The breakfast was very poor

They have a beautiful reception and instead of working from there they do everything from the bar . It doesn’t look nice , also at the time we arrive after 21:00 the girls at the reception was having a party with some of the male guest, very unprofessional behaviour.. I also asked for a baby cot that they said they prepare but instead it was a sofa bed.. the morning staff and the housekeeping were lovely.

Great location near to the train station and in a fun and vibrant area. Very fresh, new, modern hotel.

Google Maps took us to a completely wrong location as the building is so new. So make sure to take careful note. Also not sure how you can drive near the entrance due to all the Bike zones. Very confusing for a foreign visitor.

Breakfast was good and not busy when we had it. The room was neat and clean, and the bed was comfortable

Sadly, there weren't normal hangers as we needed them to steam clothes and the hangers provided couldn't hang anywhere except the small closet

Because of location of my room in the corner without neighbors, some internal systems, ventilation or air conditioning were a bit noisy. I do not think it is common for rooms of other location.- to mention, location is good only to have a sleepover, and during the day to go away(for work or leisure to Amsterdam)because Almere is too big and this district of Almere obviously not the best to spend time in.
