Aroeira Lisbon Hotel - Sea & Golf

The breakfast was included, there was a pool.

The refrigerator was very small and stocked with items to purchase. I went to the local market and purchased stuff I wanted and put it into the fridge . I tried to go to the beach twice and couldn¿t find it due to road construction. Shame not hotel fau

The people at the hotel are the best

It was a very good location for us as we have family nearby. Very nice rooms and very comfortable beds. Bathrooms are very modern. There are good closets for storage. Public spaces are lovely. We did not have any meals there.

Some details in the bathroom could be improved.

Clean organised in a nice green location 5 minutes drive from a beatiful beach. Breakfast was good and the personel very polite. There are amenities 10 minutes walk like Aldi (supermarket), which is convenient.

The bed wasn't a double as initially requested, but two single beds joined.

Staff were excellent. Hotel was clean and comfortable and as per the photos and description.

Only downside was limited options in the immediate vicinity for evening dining. Hotel food was good but more options locally in walking distance would have enhanced the visit. More advance research next time.

Visited this hotel for a golfing trip & can't fault it. Staff helpful & friendly, hotel clean & food really good, close to golf courses & transfers to & from were a real help.

It was a lovely place to stay, the facilities were great. I loved the pool and the rooms were really nice too. The hotel also has a gorgeous smell.

- exterior could do with a jet wash and quick repaint- spa wasn’t open… was looking forward to some treatments - coffee in the room wasn’t free - please have a separate smokers wing or rooms. Couldn’t use balcony most times as guys next door was a chain smoker. Smoke went right into my room as I had opened my doors to get fresh air

Restaurant staff were polite, but they could improve their speed and attentiveness when it comes to customer service .

Everything was above expectations . The staff is fantastic. The front desk manager is brilliant. Very professional, service oriented and at the same time friendly. The restaurant is great, servant perfect very friendly and professional. The rooms modern in all details. Lovely shower system , great big beds.

Could find anything I disliked

The food was amazing and staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

We couldn’t use the outdoor pool as it was extremely cold and no indoor swimming facilities.

Loved it all. It was just perfect for what we needed. We will be coming back.

Breakfast was quite average and things didnt seem very fresh - like some items may have been from the day before. The lunch however was amazing. so perhaps it was just a one off.

You should stay here! We stayed in late october. Everything was clean, modern and excellent. We especially liked the free shuttle bus to the aroeira beach restaurant, which was also excellent and reasonable with free parasols on the beach. We were told the golf area is also excellent.

The restaurant that is excellent, should have a lower price menu options, but there are others nearby.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - it's the people who make the biggest difference to guests.Swimming pool was beautiful.Excellent quality food, would recommend half board.Clean, light, modern rooms with a balcony. There are several excellent golf courses within an hour drive from the hotel.There was a beautiful white cat (Cali) who came to hang out at the hotel.

Aroeira Challenge golf course - it was generally poorly maintained, and there wasn't a single toilet facility once you started the round. This is not acceptable if you have ladies tees!Aroeira Pines course was closed for maintenance - this was not widely advertised at the time of booking.

The pool and rooms are beautiful. The food was delicious and the breakfast was great!

There isn’t a fitness studio on sight.

The location.

There was no allocated parking, by reception, there was a horrible carpet. More of a trip hazard than anything else. The over all state of the hotel, inside and out was not what I expected of a 4star hotel. The cooked breakfast was bad, the coffee was horrible. The machine that dispensed the coffee was horrible. The plates had chips missing from the underneath, the coffee mugs also had chunks missing from the edge. Very unhigenic. The view from room 211, is of the recycling bins over the road. In the morning there was bags of rubbish dumped there too. The view from room 204, was not great either. Looking at water damaged wall/features is not what I had expected. The hotel is only 5 years old. But maintenance is lacking and I wouldn't stay again. Overall, I wouldn't ever recommend this place.

Overall services were really good and our week there was fantastic, thanks for everything. We stayed a week with a little dog and overall services included with dog was impressive, staff, facilities..thanks!

I advised before we arrive that was key and important to have our double room with views in the -1 floor, in the same level than grass. When we arrived there isnt available room and we must wait a day to have this type of room. I know that this type of request depends of available, but we only repeat if we'll have this type of room, because we need. Thanks

Great location close to Lisbon. Spacious room. Convenient

Service around the pool can be improved. Absent service and slow. They have call buttons but no staff seems to pay attention to it.
