Simple, spacious, clean and great value

The hotel is old and dated but the rooms are huge and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great value for money. WiFi worked well.

Room very clean and comfortable...location fine ..not disturbed by other visitors...tea and coffee provided... Bed comfortable..good sleep.

Nothing was all good,..only if you are old it is a bit of a walk to the centre and uphill on the way back...you have to take it slow.

Place was simple and clean though missing the basics. There was no milk supplied for the coffee or soap. I have not ever been somewhere where there was no soap so that was interesting.

The light didn't work in the bathroom and there was only a small lamp as compensationThe shower leaks so there was a valve we had to open and shut before and after using shower.The hair-dryer attached to wall did not work.

Very old rooms, pillows were as hard as rocks, spare pillow had stains on pillow case like it hadn't been changed. Towels were stiff and didnt smell fresh like they'd been washed by a laundry service.

Older property, but the room was clean and comfortable.

Had Tea & coffee facilities - but no milk - when I asked for milk was told it was not supplied - I asked why do they supply Tea, sugar & coffee then. Was reluctantly given some milk.Also there was no soap, shower gel, shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom - as this was a one night stay this was most inconvenient.

The location is nice.Calm and quite. The host lent us cooking oil.

The shower was not working. The toilet door doesn't lock.

No air conditioning or wifi connected TV. Had to have fan on full blast just to stay cool. Rear sliding door was open when I checked in. Slim pickings in Augusta so don't expect the Hilton.

Air con in rooms please. Wall fan had no speed controls - it was either full blast or nothing. Not instructions on how to use shower.

Convenient location right in the town centre. Close to river.
