Opotiki Holiday Park

Small town location and a nice site for the Motel. Clean and tidy and good facilities. Nice receptionist. Very happy to have stayed here. Good value for money. Only one night here but it would have been nice to stay longer. Very relaxing. Wifi was a wee bit slow in the bedrrom but ok in living room.... but we had private data so it wasnt a drama.

Would have preferred a double bed for us, but I guess I didn't manage my booking very well...my fault

Could be a little more cleaner (rubbish under bed, slight musty smell in the bedroom).

Lovely lady running the park. Obviously a base for backpackers and seasonal workers but very quiet. Adequate for our needs and to have a look around the coast to the north

Laundry facilities needed but not used due to piles of wet/dry clothing stacked on washers. Not a real problem though

People checking in around midnight being very noisy an waking us up when they state it's quiet after 10pm

Friendly reception , nothing fancy but has all the basics only stayed the night but it was very clean & suprisenly quiet will definitely stay again

I was met with a friendly face and asked how my day had been.Lovely lady, rooms are dated but very comfortable. Will stay again when my travels have me that way.

This property needs a lot of maintenance, no inside bathroom door handle, no hot water over sink, inside door handle came off effectively closing us inside the bedroom. Hand basin was too small and no running hot waterNeeded good pillows

Stopped for a nite doing motorbike trip round East Cape, great staff and welcome, super friendly and helpfull. Walking distance to pub and takeaways.

Although unit was well worn was well presented and a great price

The pool was so fresh and clean. The entire place was welcoming, the gate was good for extra protection. It's not a place to have high expectations but it has a family feeling about it. And it's pet friendly which was why we initially chose this, so thank yous heaps Raje for allowing our fur baby to enjoy with us even though she never ended up coming haha.

I would say upgrade the toilet. And the room door never shut properly. Just needs a couple of inches off. Nothing major.

Quite basic, but exceptional value for money. The lady on reception was fantastic, she was very welcoming and friendly. She was also very helpful and funny, we loved her. Such a lovely lady - wāhine ataahua xx

N/a great little place on a big road trip

Nice little place, enough kitchen supplies to cook yourself dinner & breakfast, no need to go out at night which is great. The pool was very nice

Bed was rock hard. Otherwise facilities were great. Staff were lovely.

Low price, clean, kitchen quite well equipped, friendly staff. Served it's purpose well overall.

Double Charged

I paid online in full before arriving, but got double charged the full amount 10 days after leaving, taken directly by the holiday park.I regret staying here as I didn’t know before that guests need to pay twice in full.

Location. Friendly staff. Fully equipped kitchen. Spacious bathrooms. Comfortable beds.

Adequate for its price range, and super welcoming and helpful staff.

The bathroom was very small, though adequate.
