- The location is unbeatable!! Its right on the lake with a breathtaking view at sunset and many of the top restaurants in town are literally just steps away.!
- This charming boutique hotel has a fantastic location on Lake Zug. Conveniently located near wonderful restaurants.
- The location and the small but comfortable and functional room
Cons -
- The room was air conditioned which was great temperature wise but made the room smell a little funky. So it was a balancing act between temperature and odor.
- The breakfast was of good quality but very low in choice/variety. I would have expected better for the very high price paid
- the breakfast doesnt have a big variety since switzerland is famous for cheese it would be great if there were more options for cheese

Excellent location on square at lake. Friendly staff. Large comfortable room.
The single room is facing to the lake, the lake view is breathtaking! The hotel is at great location, many restaurants downstairs, mini bird-park, 5 minutes walking distance to train station Zug Postplatz. Room is compact, modern and comfy, with Nespresso coffee machine, airconditioning and minibar stocked with 2 bottles of water. Closing the window completely could cancel the noise from restaurant downstairs. Hotel also provides free 1-day transportation card covers the Zug area could cover train/bus/tram
1. Slow wifi and 4G network during Friday night (too many users probably). Saturday early morning is ok. 2. Breakfast is under the bar, limited choices, bread are not fresh baked. Quality is compromised probably due to free breakfast.
We booked the hotel for a single day stop in Zug.Very well located in city center! We were lucky to receive room 206 - which was a corner room overlooking the lake in the most perfect angle.Rooms are quite spacious, comfy.Breakfast was good, too.
My room was very clean, comfortable and equipped in all the necessities.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the sound isolation wasn’t too good and I could hear voices from outside, but it’s understandable in older buildings.
Dinner was absolutely amazing and the staff during the evening!Staff at the dask were very friendly! :-)
Very poor breakfast. Also, when we had few questions about the breakfast menu, middle aged lady with short hair were quite rude and moody
The room was quite small, but clean and cozy. It was quiet, and the personnel very kind and supportive.
The breakfast was decent, but I was expected to be richer. The waitress was kind of rude sometimes, having much too taught rules, and honestly, not too "smiling".
Very convenient, lovely staff & great food. This was my second stay & do recommend it to everyone who needs to stay in Zug
Super location and very friendly staff. Special thanks to reception cru for making needed amendments in my reservation along with booking.com team.
Location and cleanliness
Could not turn on coffee machine
Location on the Zug lake and at heart of historic old town. It was lively during the day but quiet at night. Good views over the lake and lots of restaurants nearby. Access to laundry room to do ironing. Rooms good size.
The breakfast. Was a bit basic for a hotel of this standing and more in line with a 3 star hotel. Breakfast staff didn’t smile much in contrast to more friendly and welcoming reception staff. Hotel lacked sitting space like a salon but outside terrace was nice spot for a coffee or aperitif.
Excellent location, clean, super friendly staff,
The location was perfect, right beside the lake with lots of cafes and restaurants.
Nothing…it was perfect!
Perfect location, comfortable room, and reliable Wi-Fi for work during my two-night stay. A bit pricey, but that’s Switzerland. Would stay again. I loved the view from my window!
Tip: If the hotel breakfast comes with a fee, I’d skip it and visit the great bakeries and cafes nearby instead—unless it’s Sunday, when most places are closed and the hotel breakfast becomes a good option.
Our room overlooking Zug’s old town was lovely- well appointed and everything up to date. The breakfast included a choice of cooked eggs along with an extensive spread of bread, meats, cheeses etc. The staff was friendly and helpful.
It’s a hike from the train station but not much the hotel can do about that.
Good Breakfast. Very clean. Friendly and professional staff. Great location.
The hotel was very very nice, my room too. All the staff are incredibly friendly, especially the people at the reception. The view is very nice, giving italian vibes. The breakfast was very nice too. Overall service 10/10
