    Pros +

    • I stayed at Palia my five year old son, and we had a wonderful time. The staff were so warm and welcoming, always checking to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We stayed in a Premium sea view room, and the view from the balcony was stunning. The water slides in the main pool were a big hit with my son, and we also enjoyed the premium pools with a panoramic sea view which were very calming. I loved that the buffet had a kids section which always carried my son’s favorite foods, and he was enthralled by the massive desserts section. For me as a vegetarian, there was always a good variety of options. The early after dinner kids shows were great, and the Thursday night fireworks display was fantastic and felt very special.
    • We had a lovely stay! The rooms were beautiful, modern, and clean. The vip pool section was so nice right on the water. There were lots of nice touches for vip guests such as appetizers in the pool sections and drinks/treats left in the room. Staff were all fantastic with our little one (special shoutout to Paloma and Nelly!) We liked that it was accessible to the little town/shops directly behind. Also the lobby smelled soooooo good lol.
    • The hotel and staff were fantastic. Paloma, she was brilliant. Always checked in on us and very attentive. Plenty of food options for the buffet.

    Cons -

    • Elevators in the main building were the worst part. People with strollers/disabilities are seriously at a disadvantage because they take FOREVER. We generally ended up carrying the stroller down the stairs because it was easier, I also saw a gentleman on crutches doing the same. I understand this is likely Spanish lifestyle but lunch starting at 1 and dinner starting at 7 was WAY too late for us. We like to eat around 11 & 5 so it was tough to wait around this long, especially considering we have a young child who is typically in bed by 8. We are used to Mexico resorts where they have a daily buffet and also a la carte restaurants where you can book for a menu dinner which are also included in the price. This would be a nice touch since you do get sick of the buffet everyday. However the food was good!
    • Food could be better but you could always find something to eat.
    • TERRIBLE HOTEL. I don’t recommend at all and it is my first time leaving bad review.I've traveled a lot and I've never been to one of such poor quality. To begin with, I don't know how they have the courage to offer this food, you can see that it is of very cheap, artificial quality, cream sauces like jelly and zero taste, I refused myself to keep eating. Plates bad washed and lipstick on the glasses too. Nothing good was given in the buffet and much less in the snacks that were served cheap quality hamburgers and canned sausages. Drinks I can not even comment, so bad and artificial. I booked the hotel thinking that all the hotel's pools were included, but no, you can only access the infinity pool if you pay an extra 40 euros per day. the other two small ones for adults the water were freezing, no one in. I'm really frustrated with this hotel and regret choosing it over another. If there was still something good to save, but incredibly, there isn't. You can see that other guests are really not satisfied and complaining too. People come here to spend good moment and the hotel just do not care.

Lovely hotel on the premium side, other part quite dated.

Food could be better but you could always find something to eat.

Nice administrator at reception. Quet air conditioner in a room.

    1. Territory does not correspond provided pictures (see attached). Some space is "reserved" for special customers.2. Almost no normal drinking water (do not fill in room). We (paid for all inc.) were advised to buy across street.3. Too long to wait at elevators.4. No way out to sea after 8pm.5. Everything is cheap and cheapest. Bad smell in room from plastic curtains.6. Safe in a room and door with a key. Like ages ago.7. Food not good. Not worth to take deserts at all.8. Wi-Fi slow and unstable.9. Entertainment 4/10.

The staff couldn't do enough for us. The views were amazing. I will definitely return

Food, it was a real let down, bland and not nicely cooked.

The staff were amazing and the daily and evening entertainment was brilliant. They really know how to make your trip special. The rooms were beautiful and the food was excellent with a wide range of choice at all hours of the day.

    The breakfast was fine.

Lunch and dinner were subpar. Fish was served at lunch and dinner and it smelled strongly of fish, indicating that the fish was not fresh. The food quality in general was not great, the pizza was burned all times we tried it for example.

A sea view never disappoints thank goodness for small mercies!

NOISY!!!! Scraping of chairs in preparation for the meals from early in the morning. The sound carries upwards to the tooms. Clattering of plates as staff seem to throw them onto the various trolleys as they clear them. This you can also hear up in the rooms (5th floor). Its canteen style. Rushrush...Dirty plates, dirty cutlery. Even spotted a fingernail in the cutlery tray trying to find clean ones. The non stick "placemats" , if wiped, were with dirty rags. Not geared for English speaking guests (I guess Brexit is our fault). Beds uncomfortable. Felt herded in and herded out. Too far from airport. Better beaches elsewhere as crowded and sewage pipes appear to run straight into the ocean. Never again!

Premium Rooms were nice and quite modern. Very comfortable and clean. The premium section was nice and relaxing.Sea View was beautiful.

The food was extremely horrible. Alcohol was watered down. Also cutlery, plates & cups were not cleaned well.Duvets had a strong smell of cigarettes and the sheets and pillow cases were stained. The whole hotel only had 4 irons, so we were unable to get them and iron our clothes.

The premium area, the views from the room and the hotel was very clean. I felt safe as a female solo traveller. I never struggled to find a sun bed in the premium area.

I was initially given a room that was above the restaurant which was very noisy, but after a few nights I was moved to a room further away which helped a little. However, the walls are so thin, I was woken up many times by people having sex the in rooms nearby. I found beds very uncomfortable. The food was poor and I am not a picky eater.

I liked very much the variety of menus . Every evening had a different menu based on different cultures . I really loved that . I also loved the animation team that did a really great work with their shows and games . The housekeepers and the receptionsts were very pleasant, kind and helpful aswell !

The bed was pretty uncomfortable because it was formed of 2 mattresses and me and my husband always fell in that space between them . We had to sleep on the edges just to try to avoid thins thing .

Fantastic views from the pool area. We stayed in the premium block so we had access to the premium pool area which was amazing. The lounger beds and bail beds were so comfortable, the bar was excellent if you drank beer or vodka. Cocktails tasted non alcoholic. The area was well supervised and clean. Toilets nearby are also. The room had a modern feel and was clean. The view was spectacular.

The bed was two single beds pushed together which has a gap down the middle which was very annoying. Bearable but it took away from the experience. There was a coffee machine provided in the room but no coffee pods. Just don't have a machine if you're not going to provide pods. As a substitute they had a kettle with different sachets of teas and coffees. The first morning we woke up to find the coffee granules were solid in the sachet. Very disappointing. Also when our room was cleaned the sachets were not replenished. From my experience I wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel it would be a three with a fantastic view.

It is an amazing hotel with amazing staff. The Animators are fantastic, reception staff are champions. It is really enjoyable to stay here, and every single minute was amazing. The property is clean, and easy to u deter and where to go from which building. Private area well maintained and staff are looking after you. Programs are nice and very entertaining, all of the bar around the hotel are great to have cocktails at almost any time of the day.

Animators could speak a little more English during the activities and programs and not mainly French or Spanish. Their job is not easy though, just worth to mention. The food not the best quality and not many variations during 7days.

the premium advances and the clean the hotel and staff were

trouble when trying to get an iron and there was one woman who was unhelpful when doing so which I found very out of place for the hotel as everyone was lovely and helpful apart from one worker who answered phone when I rang down to reception

I stayed one week on the Hotel Palia Maria Eugenia, premium all inclusive.I liked the food, you had a great selection of meat and fish, also sea food for lunch or dinner. Near the hotel you have also the beautiful Cala Domingos beach ( 2 beds and 1 umbrella cost 12.40 €). Room was also beautiful, with a sea and pool view.

There were a few things I did not like about the hotel.First thing, I had to buy bottled water, as they only give you one bottle and you should fill it in, which is insane for an all inclusive hotel. Glasses and plates in the restaurant were not properly cleaned, i did find marks of a lipstick on a glass. Second thing the hotel has three pools and it does not have a beach. Third thing, coffee is not good so I recommend to drink the coffee outside the hotel. The last thing is that shows and music are too loud, if you're planning to go there with your family.

    5ParisPosted on: 6-12-2022

Was shouted at by the receptionist on arrival so it wasn’t a good start but I kept an open mind, room was a decent size and the hotel is close to the beach and local shops but the forks in the restaurant were dirty and food sometimes undercooked. It’s okay for a friends holiday if you want all inclusive alcohol and eat elsewhere but as I was with my child it was disappointing.

the room the staff especially the bar man in the VIP bar was amazing with everyone the location just perfect my 7 th time to this area

the food was not that good this time . Did have a Spanish tummy on my 3 rd day in . but was fine. after staying in 24 hrs and kept off the food

    10MiriamPosted on: 6-5-2022

Very customer orientated. Staff was very friendly. Food really good and changed every evening. Newly built hotel with big rooms (premium) very nice view over the ocean. Clean rooms with very new and nice furniture. Pools are amazing.

AC wasn't working properly. Seemed very weak. Room stayed warm. Infinity pool in premium zone, ocean view had trash and dying plants in view; mainting that would improve it 100%.
