    Cons -

    • Title: Worst Hotel Experience Ever — Avoid at All Costs! ⭐☆☆☆☆I don’t even know where to begin. The moment I walked into this place, I was hit with a horrible smell — a mix of mold, cigarette smoke, and something rotten. The room looked nothing like the pictures online. The carpet was stained, the bed sheets had hair on them, and the bathroom was filthy with mold growing in the corners. The “amenities” they advertised are a complete joke. The TV didn’t work, the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and the air conditioner sounded like it was about to explode. Even the towels looked like they hadn’t been washed properly. The staff didn’t seem to care at all. When I complained about the smell and asked to change rooms, they just shrugged and said, “All the rooms are like that.” Absolutely disgusting!I ended up checking out early because I couldn’t stand another night there. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere — anywhere — else.
    • The room was very hot. The a/c was crap and no access inside the room to get the temperature down. There are no plug ins anywhere in the room other than for the tv. So no ability to plug in and charge phone. The carpets in the hallway look like a car tire has torn them up, so dirty looking. And cockroaches in the halls. The lights inside the room made it feel either like a dungeon (too dark) or like a classroom (Florescent lights). The beds are cots! And not at all comfortable.
    • Every thing was good. No complaints.

Excellent sized room with bathroom. Situated on the quiet side of the hotel which meant we had undisturbed sleep. Hotel is ideally situated near the beach front.

Reception was really nice hotel situated good for area

Needed upgrade to make a 4star and too much noise from bars and disco

just the location of the hotel

the hotel is old, not maintained, stinks, the hallways are dirty and old, carpets stink and are outworn, the room is poorly furnished, beds are terrible, pillows even worse, there is nothing in the room, no refreshment like coffee/tea to prepare , no kettle, nothing in the fridge, no spare coffee table and chairs to sit on, just a very old small tabourettes. The staff didn't even try to fulfill our requests like we asked for small refreshment for the breakfast due to early checkout - they don't provide it ????excuse me?! what is so difficult to put a slice of bread, apple, maybe slice of ham and cheese to a small bag?! it is 2025! and the wifi is so poor that it barely worked,

I had a large room with a nice bathroom and bidet. The location was great for the beach. There was wonderful range of restaurants nearby. The female staff were polite and friendly. The room looked onto the car park. There was a nice balcony but it was a bit breezy to sit out on for long.

The sound proofing in the hotel is not good so there was noise coming from corridor and from neighbouring rooms e.g. doors closing and toilets flushing. On one occasion there were raised voices like people rowing and it was a bit scary. One night there was a disco in the hotel with flashing lights and loud music which went on until at least 2am. Breakfast was not at a standard I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately some of the male staff in the restaurant were rather brusque and lacked politeness. As I was a lone female this was a bit upsetting.

Happy hour. The showers are great. Most surprised they had fried bread and HP sauce

Breakfast coffee was rubbish. In fact breakfast itself was disappointing. Thought they might have improved it in the 8 years since I last stayed there

Location staff great views from front but will cost you a lot more for this

We upgraded for €45 extra per night to have a junior suite and it didn’t even have as much as a kettle in it very basic not even a bottle of water

All acceptable apart from the food wasn’t always warm enough, suggest better heat lamps to keep it warm

The Dance Congress that was taking place kept myself and friends awake all night for the nights it was on, understand functions have to happen but sound management needs to be considered along with all the other guests not attending the congress the blaring of music up till 6am in the morning is not acceptable, I was on the verge of calling the police to have it shut down

It was near to all amenities.

Hotel corridors were very scabby and dirty. NO SOCKETS IN THE ROOM , the only way i could charge our phones was to use the shavers socket in the bathroom. The floor and furniture in the room felt sticky and had a dirty feel about it. The restaurant was nice and offered a lot of food choice however the food was stone cold. The hotel doesn't have a very welcoming atmosphere about it. The price of the room was expensive for what it was, so NOT value for money. The view from the room would of been really nice if they covered the well that looks down into the shopping precinct, which is covered in graffiti. It's definitely NOT 4 star rated hotel. I've been in a 2 star that was better.

The room was clean and comfortable and well situated.

The corridors were a little dated and could do with the floor coverings being cleaned. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. On arrival, the room smelt strongly of tobacco smoke, despite being a no smoking area. However, a word with a chambermaid quickly resolved the issue.

I requested a room with a sunny balcony as being important. Delighted allocated room 818, Thank you.Happy hour

swimming pool closedVery bad weather for most of the weekThe noise in the restaurant. There was a ladies conference going on.

My friend and I stayed at Las Palmeras last month for a short girls holiday. We chose this hotel mainly for its location right next to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Plus breakfast was included. For the price, especially compared to nearby options, it was a great deal.We were given a room on the 8th floor with a balcony, which gave us a lovely view of the sea, harbour and pool area. However, the hotel itself does feel quite dated, particularly in the hallways and some of the in-room amenities. For example, the hairdryer in our room has definitely seen better days and could use a replacement. All in all, if you're on a budget and prioritise location and affordability over luxury, this hotel is a solid option. Just keep in mind that it’s a bit outdated and if you don’t mind that, it’s a great spot for an affordable beach holiday.

The pool area was a nice spot to relax, but the sunbeds were not the most comfortable. They’re quite basic with no option to adjust the backrest, so lying on them for extended periods wasnt ideal. If you’re looking for a little more comfort poolside, that might be a bit disappointing.

Location brilliant. Within walking distance of beach, railway station and bus station

Cooked breakfast was cold. You could touch hot plate. Room was basic and certainly not 4*. There were no robes or tissues. There was only one power point (in the bathroom ) which made charging phones and using straighteners etc difficult. There was no kettle - and even if one had been supplied there was nowhere to plug it in.
