Hotel Marbella

The location is very good, with easy access to everywhere. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It’s okay for a short stay of 1 or 2 nights.

The hotel’s facilities are quite old.

horrible people - room dirty and unacceptable. The minute we walked in the room everything was dirty. We did even spent 5 min in the room and left. The property has still didn’t give us a refund, and refuses to say so.

Location and terrace space but terrace was unclean and the table was rusty.

Rusty furniture, unclean room, unclean balcony. Fridge was off so I couldn't cool my medication immediately which was important to me.

The staff were polite. The room had functioning shower. Surprisingly had some shower gel and soap.

At first, walking into the room, I thought it had no window. But it had one. Right across another window, which was looking into the hallway, i.e. with people walking there at all times of day. I had to close the blinds, because beds were right in the path of the window. Due to that the room was stuffy, the ac was functioning at random times, and the bathroom window did nothing. Sound proofing is non-existent. I heard someone snoring, having sex, sneezing, talking and pulling their suitcases all the bloody time. The linen had yellow stains. At least the mattress did not have signs of bugs. But I have had acne from the linen (mind you, as person with a clean face I would know) so the quality of its cleanliness is heavily questionable. Also I couldn't pinpoint what was causing me allergy - the ac, or the overall dust in the room. So be mindful of that. Another questionable thing are the plastic cups in the bathroom - I suspect they reuse them every time, because one had no sealed plastic wrap, the other, upon opening, was wet as if freshly rinsed. I bought my own cups just to be safe. Well, overall, seeing as even four and five star hotels here leave much to be desired, I should not had been surprised. Yet I had hoped that with the hotel being so small, it would have better management. Alas, it hadn't.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street. There was a bit of work going on up from it, but this didn't start to 8.30, by which time we were already awake the hotel is central to everything less than a 10 minute walk from the train station close to bars and restaurants .Our room had 2 single beds and was very comfortable it had a great shower and was very clean staff were very friendly and helpful i would recommend it and would stay here again.

Value for money. Close to the beach. Good spot for the shops

Comfortable room, I got a good nights sleep and got what I paid for. The reception was maned 24hr. Plenty of hot water got a good shower. Excellent location very close to the beach and adjacent to the Spanish quarter with its Tapas bars and upmarket restaurants.

Had to be a bit of a gymnast to get in and out of the shower that is in the bath.

The room was basic but clean a comfortable clean bed good shower the room was cleaned every day and in a good location

Welcoming hotel in a very central location. The room was very clean and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely use again?

It would have been nice to have a better view. Our room looked out over a central courtyard therefore very little fresh air.

Room was spacious and light. There was a mini fridge, which was very handy and a small bath in a bathroom.

No privacy in the room, to have it you need to keep the curtains closed. Bad smell from bathroom. We found beds very uncomfortable.

Good location

Awful cleaning. I have been three times in this hostel, and in total got my room cleaned ONCE in the three stays. The cleaner would always say I had to ask for cleaning the previous day, while the receptionist would say the opposite. Whatever the reason no one took care of the room and I had to keep asking for paper rolls and changing my bin bag. Also, there was dust in the room, the mirrors were not very clean nor the bedsheets (they looked really old!) Moreover the hostel was under renovation during this period of time, dirty common areas, noise all the time, and not comfortable at all. The first few nights I even didn’t have heating and I froze in bed. I asked for compensation and they said the hostel was already the best choice in Fuengirola. Excuse me????

Price, price, price, two single beds (I was travelling alone) so if two people using the room would have been less than £15 each!

Only down side was that my bedroom window looks over a small enclosed patio area downstairs, I could hear everything people where saying and hard to get to sleep, but stopped by 23.00

I’ve stayed at Hotel Marbella with yourselves and was pleased with my my stay and decided to book with yourselves again. This time with not a good experience.

I stayed at this property from 08/02 until 14/02/2025. And thought I had sent my complaint to your customer service Department but for whatever reason I’ve not had a reply. So I will now re-right my complaint.I’m staying in Hotel Marbella and just now on the 11/02 at 02.00 am in a very cold room. I arrived at 2pm on 08/02 at my checking in time.I was told that work was being done on the air con system and that my room hadn’t been completed so that there wasn’t any air-con system working. That meant no heating system was in place and in February it can and was very cold. I made my complaint known to the very helpful staff at reception. After two days of no heating it was decided to put an electric fan heater in my room. When the fan heater was turned on after a short period of time it tripped the electrics. I had to wait for that to be sorted by reception and it tripped again. Next morning I explained this and I arrived that afternoon to find another fan heater in my room placed on top of the chair. That evening the same happened again tripping the electrics so until reception arrived to reset the electrics. This is not obviously a happy stay at Hotel Marbella this time. I’m now at level two of your Genius promotion Scheme so I have had nothing but praise from my experience with yourselves and have just booked again ( not at Marbella) on the 14/03/2025 to show my trust and service. I’ve never needed to complain about Booking.com and regret having to do so.

they put 3 single beds into a double room and we could not walk around the beds also turned off water for one full day and said it would only be off from 10 am until 1 and electricity was turned on and off at different times because they were doing work to the hotel when i told the staff member he was very nice and said he understood but he was only working on reception and did not want to lose his job.

There was work being done and electricity kept going off. It didn't stop me having a nice trip... But I think the Hotel should of not been open until hole it was a building site. Would stay there again for sure.

The room and en suite were modern and everything was in good condition- it was good value for money. Staff were nice and we had a good night's sleep - shower was also good and hot and everything v clean

I liked everything- I was surprised how good it was for the price.
