Pros +

  • The pool is beautiful and has comfortable lounge chairs they provide towels and you can order from the bar. The staff is very attentive and very nice. The restaurant offers a great breakfast and the dinners are Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine which is delicious. Very relaxing atmosphere.
  • The garden and Lebanese restaurant connected to the hotel were beautiful. We enjoyed outdoor dining with a distant ocean view. The hotel is up in the hills in a residential area away from other restaurants and businesses but the breakfast and dinners at their restaurant were excellent so we didn't mind. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating to my husband's food allergies. The room was comfortable with its own balcony overlooking the courtyard garden. It was a very relaxing environment and I wish we had more than 2 nights there!
  • Charming, quiet and luxiurious.

Cons -

  • We did not mind the 15 minute walk to the beach through winding streets, but some might find it too far. The walk back up the hills was a little harder but I think worth it for a place that feels like a romantic hideaway instead of a generic beach hotel.
  • Security: The back door from the street to the inside of the hotel compound was kept open each night and it didn't have any security personal or cameras. Our ground floor room was nearby so we were a bit concerned about security as anyone could jump onto our terrace and get into our room as we kept the terrace window open.

Breakfast was lovely but wouldve been nice to have a little more with the eggs. Omelet with bacon was lovely though.

We found this absolute gem of a hotel ( a peaceful, stress-free retreat is a better name!) on booking.com and we are so glad we did. From the moment we arrived we stepped into the calm oasis of beautiful pool and gardens, tranquility, amazing and delicious food, and the biggest asset - the family and their staff who are incredibly welcoming and generous with their time and attention to detail and service. We loved every moment of our stay. We will be back - thank you!

Liked everything!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The hotel is run by an amazing family. The owner himself is incredibly hospitable. He treats every guest like an old friend. Great food, delicious wines, swimming pool small but clean with heated water. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic!!

Everything was great !! We will definitely come back!!

I booked this for my family and it was honestly one of the most amazing places to stay. Extremely relaxing and private. The highlight are the people running the place, kind and friendly and took care of us so well. We also had some special dietary needs and Sara and her team made it all work for us. Pool is amazing and food is great too. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, very clean. Overall a great experience and will book again when in Malaga.

What is not to like about this hotel. Amazing little gem of a place. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help you, nothing was too much trouble for them. They obviously enjoyed working there as everyone was full of smiles. I found Sara particularly helpful - thank you.The setting was divine, beautiful gardens and the pool stunning. Even the toilet by the pool smelt gorgeous. The breakfast and food were to die for the meat dishes so tender. Again the setting beautiful especially at night as had such a lovely ambiance.Everything about the hotel was stylish including the comfortable bedrooms with terraces. Already booked to go back.

Nothing at all.

The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with a nice restaurant, an idyllic and tropical garden and a relaxing and comfortable pool area. The staff was extremely service mindre, and made the stay very pleasant. The location just short taxi ride from both disc golf course and the town was perfect for us. We felt at home, and will definitely come back go this place.

The hospitality of Omar and family exceeded anything we have experienced, including at our previous 5 star hotel. From the start we were welcomed with kindness, given drinks and snacks for free - our bags taken, and started to enjoy what is indeed 'A little piece of paradise'. Just the escape we were looking for - the pool area and garden were beautiful, and it was closer to nicer beaches than we had expected in Torreblanca. The Lebanese cuisine was so delicious, that we ate there every night and had lunch there too on our last day. I felt very looked after - when complaining of a bite (not from the property) our host gave me insect repellent - they were also kind enough to let us use the pool beyond check out on our last day until our flight. A wonderful romantic break for me and my husband - perfect to relax after our previous sightseeing. We didn't want to leave! Thank you to Omar and his daughter who was also so attentive and kind. It was a beautiful romantic break and we will hopefully be back!

Nothing. Everything was lovely.

After reading previous reviews we were expecting a high standard and we were not disappointed. The relaxing feel of the hotel and grounds, the staff were fantastic and went over the top to make our stay special. It is the first time we have eaten Lebanese food and it was delicious as was all the food we ate there. Thank you all at Las Islas for making our 50th wedding anniversary special and will always be remembered.

Nothing at all.

Our holidays here were like fairytale! The whole staff took care of our well-being! The owners of the hotel are fantastic people, very kind, pleasant, communicative, but unobtrusive! The room was elegant, perfectly clean! I was very pleased with the selection of cosmetics and home fragrances! Breakfast was excellent! Perfect from start to finish! We will definitely be back!

A lovely place to relax with a beautiful swimming pool, tropical gardens, a fabulous onsite Lebanese restaurant and luxurious rooms. Above everything else all the staff are so friendly and really go out of their way to ensure you have a great time!

Nothing to dislike apart from having to go home again!

Fantastic peaceful location in a quiet street. Perfectly maintained little oasis, as if the place was surrounded by a tropical garden. Fabulous staff - super friendly, going out of their way to make the stay comfortable, speaking perfect English and Spanish (possibly also other languages) Lovely quiet pool to hang around at and relax

A real hidden gem. The hotel is tucked away on a small hill and with the beautiful garden and sea view it gives a very luxurious feel. The staff are so kind, welcoming and friendly. The owner made us feel at home and he goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need during your stay. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful setting in quiet residential area of Torreblanca. Very relaxing and peaceful. Easy walk down to where the bars, cafes and restaurants are and also Torreblanca train station to take you to Los Boliches or Fuengirola or Malaga or Airport the other way.

Excellent breakfast, pool, garden, host and staff. Very hard bed, and the cleanness of the room needs a bit more.
