Aspire Palais Recklinghausen, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I loved the location of the property. I enjoyed the variety of nearby restaurants and stores. I liked decor of the property. I appreciated the walking distance from the train of the hotel. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant personnel) were very friendly and ready to assist. The breakfast, offered by a connected restaurant, was delicious and satisfying, and well worth the cost.

The closeness of the toilet to the glass divider for the shower. That's a very small space. A few more centimeters/inches of space between them would've been better. This very slight inconvenience does not take away from the 5 Star quality of this property and it's employees.

Was nice, modern, and clean very central.

Very thin walls, you could hear everything from the outside.

Location

Staff weren't helpful. Room was tiny and hot water in shower didn't work. No replacement bottles when water was empty

Location was good, as well as the stuff of the hotel.

Our room had NO air conditioning whatsoever. It was very hot and stuffy in the room.

The location is perfect

The bed was to bad and there’s no refrigerator and it was toooo hot and You will wake up too early because the sun enters the room. The curtains do not completely block the sun

I have paid for breakfast for 2 mornings for 4 of us and when we got up in the morning asked were breakfast was they told oh we renovating so there is no breakfast and we said but we have paid for breakfast what are you talking about you didn’t inform us or tell us anything we were charged with breakfast there was no more communication that was it we renovating sorry

the room was nicely decorated

the smell was not very pleasant, the bed was double but made up of 2 mattresses and repeatedly they separated and a couple slept, this was not comfortable at all. Then, on Sunday morning at 9 o'clock, the cleaning women repeatedly and disturbingly scolded us, they entered without getting consent, they saw that we were resting and shortly they returned again in an insistent manner

Newly renovated rooms and prime location in the city centre.

Can be a bit loud a night due to location - didn’t disturb me
