- The restaurant downstairs was fantastic. The room clean and comfortable, I slept very well, and despite the busy road outside the windows (when closed) blocked out all the noise.

- Maybe the 2 flights of stairs might put some people off, but I didn’t mind the exercise. A couple of English TV channels (news) might’ve been nice for a non native speaker. But I’m being really picky.
- Lack of air-conditioning in room.
- Stained old towels, linen with random hairs, worn out bed. No vegan options at breakfast, for example no alternative milk, just cow's milk... Horrid smell coming from the drain. Also, I booked two separate rooms and got given the same room for both nights with no option to keep my original booking. Weird.

Very clean room. Decent size. Walking distance to railway station and town centre. Comfortable bed. Proper wardrobe with plenty of storage, sitting area, large desk if you need to work. Very good bathroom. Excellent restaurant (it was a restaurant before a few guest rooms were added), with good German style breakfast. Lovely staff. Good wifi
Towels were a bit thin. No lift to upper floor where the bedrooms are, but that’s a very minor issue. Would have like som fresh fruit with my breakfast.
