SKY Hotel Cloppenburg

Late check-in through an automated system was a plus and the reason why we chose the hotel. Turns out this was the only good thing about it.

There were strong chemical smells in the corridors and in our room. Could have been brand new carpets, some inappropriate cleaning agent - I wouldn't know. But despite having the window open through the night, we were unable to get rid of that horrible chemical smell. Unfortunately we arrived after reception hours and were unable to ask for our money back. Breakfast had some variety, but for the money we expected better quality.

Clean, small, comfortable enough for a short stay.

The assistance from staff on site was minimal but fine. Reaching out to the owner/manager/behind the scenes staff by way of email, text or phone was pointless. They offered no replies, late answers and ultimately gave incorrect info telling us we were at fault for their lack of response. I would definitely never return.

The location near the town centre and available free parking.

The breakfast was not refilled very often, we had to ask more food. The TV remote did not work, so we could not use the TV. No staff on site at 19, and when we called the hotel they said no one was on site and they could not help us.

The property was in a central location with plenty of shops and take away just a short walk away, Parking is free but not secure,

The property is above a gym and is a shared entrance, which smelt very bad from all the gym users, needs more ventilation,

Good location, easy service and access to the room.A big plus for air conditioning in the room.

Modern & clean. Pleasant staff.

Mainly location. In the middle of a retail park & top floor of a block. If the lift stopped working I wouldn’t want to walk up all the stairs with a suitcase.

Nice room, with a very good bed. Parking for free in the surrounding.

Breakfast was pretty poor. I dislike "automatic check-in"

Rooms are clean and easy check-in with the code to be used.

Breakfast could have maybe Included a bit more warm Food - but the everything was more than fine otherwise.

Lovely clean, comfortable room. Beautiful bathroom with underfloor heating. Modern and nicely decorated.

The view from my room wasn't great but the location is good as a stopping place whilst travelling.

They had suddenly changed login code. Unneccceary hazzle. Fan in bathrom noisy and long running time just for a short visit in bathroom especially nighttime.

New and clean hotel. Very nice room, with under-floor heating in the bathroom. Large parking lot in front of hotel.

Close to the Lidl, lots of noise.

I loved the room. So modern. And the staff. Smiling and happy. We even tried a new fruit with one of the cleaning ladies. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location is a bit far from the center of the city.

Modern clean efficient. 10 minites walk to a lively centre. Good continental breakfast. Free fresh coffee/tea.

At the moment I had breakfast, there was no one around to refill the scrambled eggs.

There was a bit of a smell in my room when I entered it.
