The Marcy Hotel

It was right on the strip and close to all the pubs.

The club banging their music next door until 2:30 am and nothing could be done except give us earplugs.

Comfy beds, well appointed bath and breakfast was yummy.

Very comfortable, well-appointed room. Nice restaurant/pub called Nellys adjoining the hotel. Hotel located on a popular shopping street. Super friendly staff. Parking garage 2 blocks away.

No place to unload luggage. Street was only one very congested lane. Live band played from 9-11pm, too loud, sleep impossible.

The room looked onto a roof and the window was covered in bird poop. Dated room. Just ok.

The room was comfortable and clean and the location was very good for walking, as well as being very close to the ancient tombs to tour.

The room was loud, which is understandable because it is in an urban location. Closing the window eliminated the noise, but there was no fan in the room so the room was uncomfortably warm for sleeping.

Wonderful breakfast with many choices and delicious. Hotel location perfect for riding bus and train and walking in city center.

Room was way too hot. Understand that adding a/c to an old building can be difficult and expensive but they could have had portable fan in the room.

The location was great, the hotel is esthetically pleasing, inviting, and clean. The staff was very helpful. Since there is no elevator they carried our luggage up to the 3rd floor. They also offered me tea in the early morning when I came down to the lobby as not to disturb my sleeping cousin. Our room was spacious , clean and the beds comfortable. Overall a great experience and I would definitely come back or recommend to others.

The staff were excellent. The Eden breakfast room was lovely. The mattresses were very good. Everything was very clean. Location was perfect.

Lack of air flow and very muggy. The room was warm but too loud to leave the windows opened. It was very musty and needs some air circulation. Would be ideal to put in a purifying fan. Not ideal for an asthmatic which I am. Someone else may not have an issue. Very little water pressure.

Staff on check in were extremely friendly and efficient. The hotel is comfortable and stylish. I didn't have breakfast but there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Drogheda was lovely and I'll certainly be back here.

It seemed that my TV was bothering a guest next door even though I didn't think it was particularly loud. It might be an idea to limit the volume on the TV if the sound really does travel between rooms that easily. Other than that, it was a very smooth stay.

The position is really central so you get to see the town and access the cafes and bars. So convenient being able to walk to everything in the evening - no need to drive.

There is parking at the hotel but general parking in the town is difficult - especially at the weekends.

The staff were really nice.

I was really disappointed. The room was so small the bed was not a normal size double. The water from.the shower was a trickle and the shower curtain was really dirty. For €199 per night is really was a let down.

Stayed for one night for a reunion with long time friends. Was very impressed with how clean and comfortable it was. I would definitely stay there again.

Central and all the staff were lovely

The parking facilites are not clearly marked, it was all a bit confusing when reading the description on the website

The beds were very comfortable, even thought it was on a main street it was quiet once the windows were closed. The heat in the room wasn't to hot and was v comfortable. Good size rooms
