The Royal Marine overlooks Dublin Bay and provides direct access to Dun Laoghaire Promenade and Pier. It gyd a health club, spa, indoor pool and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. There is a DART train line just 2 minutes walk from the Royal Marine, which has regular services to Dublin City. From outside the hotelvb there is a coach service to and from Dublin Airport. The Pier Health Club has a steam room, spa tub and free weights. A range of indulgent treatments are provided at the Sansana Spa including a rock sauna, a mud room and experience showers. Designed over 2 floors, Hardys Bar serves fine cuisine in a modern environment. The Dun Bistro offers stunning harbor views and serves modern European cuisine. There are plenty of beautiful coastal and countryside walks, including Peoples Park, in the immediate vicinity. Free parking is available at the hotel. Notable former guests include Charlie Chaplin and Queen Victoria.

- The architecture was interesting. The atmosphere was a bit like stepping back in time to a very different sort of resort/hotel experience. It was nice to have cafe and restaurant options available in the hotel. The location was close to the train.
- Me and my wife stayed in a junior suit and it was absolutely beautiful. Food in the bar was really good too.

- The pool was strange. Dim, moody lighting and excessive limitations on when kids can swim. Limited and unclear access to cafe and seating area in the front of the hotel. Reception seemed uniformed about the local area, transportation options, services.
- Unfortunately, our room didn't have heat. The front desk tried to fix it and someone came to the room but no luck. Spoke to the manager the next day and she offered a discount the next time we stay. But she never took our name etc
- Too many extra fees Hassle to receive included amenities Room NOT available when promised or for second available time they provided either.
