Holiday Inn Express - Offenburg By IHG

Rooms were very nice and comfortable, had a bar in the lobby, lobby was clean and modern, great price for the room, and very clean.

Views were not great, but we weren't staying there for the views. Also think paying for parking is ridiculous, but that's everywhere

The breakfast was good. In most of our stays in Germany, the breakfast at hotels was quite expensive; we were in Germany for nearly a month. I liked that here the breakfast was included in the payment of the room and breakfast was good. Thank you

What I didn't like. This would be my own fault. My lack of German didn't allow me to communicate some difficulties I had with the vending machine. My bad.

Staff who welcomed us Mr Buz really helped us. He showed all the places that we can travel. He is an amazing person that every hotel MUST need. Special thanks to Metin Buz. Breakfast is great.

Only thing, AC only warm environment up to 25 degrees celcius.

Reasonable price point and close to bike trail and Bahnhof . Excellent inside bicycle storage . Very friendly and helpful staff . Room very clean and bright . Lift to upper floors . Close to several restaurants for dinner . Very good breakfast but be sure to check the times that they are very busy .

Great hotel - better than most Holiday Inn hotels. Lovely staff. Great room, quiet and functional. Comfortable bed.

We have stayed at IHG Hotels many times, particularly Holiday Inn Express Hotels, in many European countries. We have enjoyed this hotel as much as all other IHG Hotels.I must mention particularly about Receptionist, Cosima, who went an extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. When we checked in I did not mention I am an IHG member, since I did the booking via booking.com. However, after checking and after having dinner we came to the hotel bar for drinks. Just before we ordered drinks Cosima came to us and said "I found out that you are an IHG member, and therefore, as a thank we would like to offer 2 complimentary drinks". I was very surprised not just getting 2 complimentary drinks, but she went beyond her job and searched our names, so she found out I am an IHG member. We were so touched by her service-minded attitude.Cosima was the once who checked us in, that too very quick & professional.Everything in the room was clean and organized. We will definitely stay once again at IHG hotels.

Breakfast - we are aware almost all IHG hotels provide breakfast incl. in the rooms which is a huge a service to the guests. However, if the hotel can provide bit more hot items that would be perfect.

I liked how friendly the staff were and the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

The room was smaller than expected which was a shame, and the breakfast was very basic - no bacon, sausages, or egg (apart from boiled) - which is something I expect in Germany (especially - they are known for their good quality meats) to be offered. Also it was a shame parking wasn’t free or a lower cost (13 euros a night is on the steep side).

All is very new, very clean and modern, good comfortable beds, easy parking, and a good breakfast..

the shower, even close to the wall you can't avoid to almost flood the bath... not very functional construction, but all in all everything was fine.

Very good breakfast, location, near supermarket. Emplyees are very find and was a great pleasure to stay there.

The hotel was affordable, clean and convenient. I liked the breakfast and the staff. We chose this hotel to see the cities of Germany and France. It was easy for us to visit some nearby cities.

It was in the silent part of the city for a person who visits for the 1st time it was a bit strange to walk to the hotel late evening. Also, the glasses of the 1st floor where the restaurant located wasn't frosted so people could see us. Once a man stared us and we felt uncomfortable.

Breakfast was not variable , pillows were uncomfortable

Pretty spacious room, we had two rooms booked and we were put next to each other which was nice. Closed of private parking was good as well. I liked the breakfast even though there wasnt much variety

There was quite a bit of noise coming from the road at night

Very comfortable, huge bed and really lovely staff. The breakfast was also fantastic!
